This game NEEDS to be on XBLA/PSN/PC! I would play this game pretty much everyday if they did. I would play it now if I didn't loose my VMU and the disc wasn't scratched, have to spend a half hour fighting the Dreamcast to get it to read the game just for it to stop in the middle of the game to say "Please insert disc" -_-

Only thing i wonder about this game is why not make a Sonic Shuffle 2? They can do so much more better now with how things are now. Better graphics, more maps, a insane amount of characters to choose from, and they can recycle certain mini games while adding new ones. I think it would be great to see a more updated version with all the new things they can do.

Okay, Lumina and Void (whichever one) was basically recycled into Cosmo D: Hence the very similar appearance. Cosmo was modeled after this game. I honestly like Lumina and Void so much better though.

Also the bad rep for this game is bullshit. This game was just challenging. And it was awesome. I can't believe people got so butthurt of "how similar" it was to Mario Party. as CreationsFlare stated someone from Mario Party also worked on Sonic Shuffle.

Its been so long since I played this game! I wish I still had my dreamcast but that was so long ago. I loved this game, it was like the first game I ever owned. The train map was my favorite. I didn't own a memory card so I would repeat the game from the beginning every single time lol. But I didn't mind.

This and Sonic Adventure 1 were my first games!

Firstly calm down. You're approaching the subject matter with a high level of ignorance, considering that Sonic Adventure was Sonic's first true 3D game, with Sonic Shuffle coming afterwards. I say true 3D because Sonic 3D's isometric viewpoint on the Megadrive doesn't count.

Secondly it was a puzzle game. How does that have any relation to a classic Sonic game which is largely about speed and platforming?

Titanosaurus, in one minigame 1 character grows to insane proportions and attacks the others Godzilla style, thats pretty far from lame. And instead of hitting a their head on a block players need to stock movement cards to advance, and some characters have unique movement areas for them alone.

Stop hating a good game that could have given Nintendo a run for their money.

@DGDN09 It's the Adventure series Sonic. xD I'm tellin ya, the Adventure series design is NOT the modern Sonic. Modern Sonic is his "nextgen" design. It's like his Adventure series design only exaggerated and lazily drawn.

Because I think those are the same designs (it's the same ones from Sonic Adventure 1) but the difference being the art style. In that case, that would be the only thing I, personally, have a problem with in his current (nextgen) design is the artstyle. Which is no biggy to me, just not my favorite style. =p

I remember playing this game, for years it had eluded me, then last year or possibly the year before, I finally got it. I played it to death and loved it despite the fact I disliked how the COM characters seemed to cheat.

But, my Dreamcast`s picture cable has broken, which means it works fine, but I can`t see anything. I wonder if such a problem could be solved?

This is one of the only examples of a classic-yet-nextgen Sonic. We need more of this style in the present day! After Sonic Heroes things kinda took a turn, but both this and the intro movie for Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn) show that Sonic can retain all his classic attitude while still keeping a modern feel.
