Sure raid dont need more mana regen but warlock does ... so no improved soul leech 2/2 is bigger dps loss then idk 3% crit rate for example.And life tap glyph is bullsh wich is good for affli or demo but defenetly not destro. And why not being hit caped by stats without suppresion while almost all DPS caster drops in ICC have hit rate.

1.) I have around 270 spirit unbuffed,so is it still good to take glyph of life tap of imollate glyph?

2.)i dont have any piece of equipment that has +5 bonus spellpower i only have +7 and +9 socket bonuss spellpowers,so is it still good idea to replace dreadstones with spirit with runed cardinal rubies?

@sonic43073160 Just follow the stat guide in the video. You need to be able to work your own gear around. The BiS gear for 3.3.5 was mostly all ICC 25 Heroic gear.

Thanks man,i never really paid much attention to the gems.Also does the I'm using Glyph of Conflagurate,Incinerate and Chaos bolt(reduced the cd by 2sec).The life tap does get you more dps but in the end i think that the faster chaos bolt adds up more dmg in the end no?Can you pm me and confirm if It's ok to use chaos bolt over life tap(I'm a pvp lock so i guess that the dps boost from life tap isn't as important as burst dmg((faster chaos bolt=more dmg,faster kill)) from chaos bolt.

Just to clarify this, In all red slots I want a runed cardinal ruby, yellow slots I want the haste/spellpow orange gem and purified dread in blue. Now, My big problem is hit. I should use hit gems in yellow slots to get to the cap correct? And if I have 3 points in suppression do I need to be at 18% hit? I read somewhere that since I have supp 3/3 I can be as low as 368 hit. TY for help.

@suprise1969 wow did you even watch the video? he covered this. with 3/3 supression it gives you 3% hit. so 17% - 3% = 14%. so all you need is 14%. if you raid with a boomkin or shadow priest you only need 11% hit cuz they give you another 3%.

11% hit as a Destruction with an owl and a shadow in the raid? Thats wrong. Both of the buffs dont stack. As a destruction without suppression skilled you'll need 13% hit as an ally. 13% + ImpFairyfire and the draenei aura is 17%. 14% with a horde warlock.

Nicely explained. I have a Destruction Warlock alt I play with once in a while. I also posted up a video of my rotation if you'd like to rate and comment.

It's pretty much Lifetap > CoE > Immolate > Chaos Bolt > Conflagrate > Incinerate and then transition into the priority system as you explained.

Thanks for making this man, I've been away from my 80 lock for well over a year and this was a nice concise overview of what's going on in 3.3.5 and I don't think I could have prepped myself any better in 7:24 of looking at the forums etc... lol

Just your gem suggestions alone brought me about 150 sp. I also like how you use the term "priority queue" as the idea of a rotation never sounded right to me. Things change, locks are dynamic, cookie cutter is boring, etc

erm, most important stat onyour gear is hit, then the rest. Spirit aint much use for lock either. Best idea is to go for non spirit gear and stack the hast/crit instead

I was told that Glyph of Life Tap shouldn't be refreshed at the expense of Conflagrate, Chaos Bolt, Curse of Doom, or Immolate.

I could be wrong though.

@strigen Its all relative. I keep it up at all times because the extra spell power makes those moves hit a bit harder. + however much spell power on immolate will makes the ticks do more for that application, so probably before immolate if nothing else.

I use rain of fire alot on mobs, that seems to work well, especially in dungons. But I don't understand why he doesn't use the succubus, she does amazing damage in PVP.

@Supervillain725 well imo this is for pve, i never use imp in pvp only void/succubus, i rather have 10k dmg absorb or other cc then little more dmg, srsly if u go arena with your imp you'll be laughed out from the arena, succubus is essential for cc'ing and i am aware that it shares dim with fear but you in 2v2 you can use fear on the target and let succubus "spam" seduction on the other one, with a correct macro you just have to click it (not accually click but anyway) and you can keep dpsing

Due to the fact that Immolate (DoT) is capable of critical hitting, it's better to get Glyph of Immolate and equal haste to critical strike chance when choosing gear, but not when gemming.

TL;DR, Glyph of Immolate isnt very good for your standard warlock.

Everyones gear is different. I could argue all day about this, but in 90% of calculations, Glyph of Life Tap comes out on top.

@TheDeathwissh Then you know that ICC gear doesnt have much spirit on it. Hence, Glyph of Life Tap is useless once you get down to a certain point. Anyone who can read can deduce this.

Aside from that, if you really are pulling 14-16k consistently, then you don't really need a guide. You know what you are doing and you have optimized your gear accordingly. This is the setup that works for people who have less than heroic icc 25m gear. End of story.

Rotation Kinda.. ehh.. i like to be able to use 3 Incenerates instead of having to use one of my procs for my Chaos Bolt.. Try this rotation. Curse>Immolate>Chaos bolt>Conflagrate>then incenerate and repeat rotation.. Works really well for me.. :D

why do you use suppression in destro?: Suppression, a talent at the top of the affliction talent tree reduces your chance to miss with Affliction spells by 1% per talent point (up to 3/3 for 3%). Note, this only effects Affliction spells. Your Destruction and Demonology spells will be unaffected.
