In my opinion this is one of the best GM slogans ever!!! The thing that is killing the true American Auto company is people moved toward the dang import brands. Keep the American dream alive by buying from the Big 3. Those dollars stay in our country not going over seas. You could try and say the non-American brands build here and you would be correct but that profit goes to that parent country not the GREAT U.S.A. Your money do what you will with it. UAW/GM proud family!! Buy true American
I would love Chevy more if theyd bring this back over that damn "Chevy runs deep" I thought that they said earlier this year, you wouldnt hear that "chevy" term out of GM anymore, on Chevrolet.
@PBCapNCrunch30 may the best car win, I just want to punch the tv evertime I see it! They really ought to bring this back, I woul dbuy a Chevy just for that if they did!
and they do an excellent job at that. my 91 cavalier is hands downs the least expensive car to maintain that i have ever owned. a few oil changes and 162K she's running strong
@gunnlover my 91 has a 2.2 and the odometer broke over a year ago at 171K, i drive allot so im saying its close to 200K now. original 2.2, is is one strong, reliable workhorse. its not luxury but it gets me where i have to go. cars arent built like that anymore, sadly they are way overpriced stuffed with things that we dont want, need or have a choice of not getting. the 88-94 cavalier was simple, easy to maintain and got good gas mileage do we need anything else? i think not
Did they really have to go and show that Corsica after that beautiful '57 Bel Air?
But I agree with Bajabusta. This and "Like a Rock," were THE best slogans ever. "An American Revolution," and "This is Our Country. This is Our Truck," completely blow.
The person who proposed this slogan deserves a medal!

How is it possible to have a Sprint or a Nova with a Lumina or a 1991 Caprice as "new"? Those Sprints or Novas were last sold in 1988.

The heart beat of america was the generals greatest slogan. The apv minivan though looks like something made of legos.
