The neocons have beaten the Republican party into the ground and broke it off. They've turned the Republican party into an authoritarian party, which is at odds with the Constitution, the document Republicans USED TO LOVE. They've turned the party into a HUGE spending, deficit expanding colossus. And they've decided that we're going to go around the world and engage in expensive nation building. They've turned every party ideal on its head.

As somebody who likes free markets, I'd prefer people NOT use the media as an example of how great they are. Fox News is for mouth breathing idiots. PBS is generally pretty good, and occasionally excellent, as in the case of Bill Moyers. Although CNN is generally dumber than Fox. Amazingly enough.
