it is pretty disturbing, but thats acconci for ya. I can't really say anything that hasn't been said, so I will just say that I like the premise of the piece and the atmosphere.

instead of laughing out loud, meditate about what makes humans different from animals....: language.... and yet this language sounds more like the language of an animal, language of pain, longing. Keep in mind Acconci is an artist of many facets. Laughter is a defensive reaction!
