Kick-Ass was good, but definitely not the best film ever. I would say that the Big Daddy & Hit Girl character duo's campaign against the crime lord played excellently by Mark Strong was a fantastic part of the story though. In fact, I preferred that by far to the main character and his story. You (in plural and in general) may want to watch a few more films before deciding on Kick-Ass as the best ever. There are a few more out there which have more of an impact.

Simply a brilliant song. Kick Ass is a great film, but I wouldn't compare it to Sunshine, that film is one of the best I've seen in years. I'd guess that most people would remember the scene where this songs plays in Sunshine, it's very powerful and emotional. As for my opinion on the song debate.. :) Adagio In D Minor originates in classical music, that original version in Sunshine sounds even better as a result IMO. This 'rock' version is on the Sunshine OST as well though y'know.. :)

However, the slapstick humor in Kick Ass really negates any efforts to take it seriously as an emotional experience.
