where does a person go about gettin this equipment im dying to be a beatmaker, but dont know where to go can anyone give me a clue as to where and how much im gonna have to shell out.
is that dazed and confused (on yor arm?) anyways, nice mixin! i really want to learn how to use ableton (im a beginner and still practicin) but everytime i look at it, i feel dizzy because it looks complicated. is it difficult to use?or to learn on how to use? and one more newbie question, is that trigger finger for effects? just effects or can be a mixer alone? i saw one of those at the mall last week and its quite affordable. it also made me think to get those after 10years lol!
@stupidyogi ableton is fairly easy to use and there are alot of decent tutorial videos around on Youtube. I'm also intending putting a series of videos up on digital djing soon. The trigger finger is a drum machine but its essentially a midi controller so you can use it for whatever you want.
wow dude that was awesome! the possibilities in ableton are truly endless as you displayed here perfectly. Great mix and good song selection 5 Stars, love to see you go to bali!
Kick ass! ur really good, i have my first equip coming by end of week m-audio exponent, and maybe a bit later i plan to get this grey one u have in front. ive been watching there tem min mixes for a few months, but have a feeling itll be hard work getting good at it
J- good stuff like the mix. Let me ask you. I want to get a digital DJ set up for my PC and i want to go of a knob mixer system with digital software just like you have. I have no clue where to start and what budget I should expect. Can you help???
Cheers for the comments. Unfortunately Myspace doesn't work from china and mediafire isnt working at the moment... im looking for a decent hosting situation right now. Check out my channel for more mixes or email if you want mp3
Alright b. Yeah I took it off because they have extended the competition for yet another month and I figure everyone else will have had 2 months to make one so I should use the extra time to make a better one:)
Awesome stuff Jeremy! Been thinking of incorporating a Trigger Finger into my own setup for some time as I'm in love with Ableton. Not sure if I could make the jump to 100% digital yet though!
What's up my man, long time not talk to you! well i see you lest the cdjs for some midi controllers... It seem pretty nice and for been new at the digital djing stuff you're doing great. I'm thinking about switching too but don't know jet. Keep it up bro!
nice 1! now i understand these tools at least at a friction... - so you can do things like this with an a&h xone:3d, right!? (i've always wondered what this mixer is for... ;-) )
but why did you change from cd-mixing to digital mixing? isn't it really difficult to fill a whole night with such mixes or is it only for some passages in the set combined with cd mixing?
Nice mix. How long have you been DJing total? And how long digital?
