I'd just wish he'd make them free on his own webiste, i used to be a GMC member but i can't afford to keep subscribing, and i refuse to pay 19-29 bucks just for ONE tab (the winding roads solo), it's insane!
Marcus if you ever read this, then you know your my god, and i would really appreciate the Winding roads solo tab. :P
Ok, but I just tell you that if you really want to hear the best from this guy, listen to his videos where the topic is finger vibrato; It's heavenly! :D
David Gilmour from Pink Floyd and actually he does use them loads on Momentary Lapse of Reason. He's one of the most expressive guitarists I've ever heard.
i love how you apply the use of the whammy bar, without it sounding like you're just trying to take advantage of its existence, i can never seem to put it into any of my music, unless i'm slamming it for extra intensity or w/e.
It's not me, unfortunately. I wish!!! But yes i totally understand what you're saying. It's like an attachment of just passion and feeling. Become one with your instrument. It's amazing!
Amazing

Bending or not...it'd be awesome if you just appreciate and acknowledge the talent in the video.

it'd be cool if this video involved actual bending

MysteryBoxz 3 years ago
Where the heck can you hear a delay pedal here apart from some reverb..?
IDontWantMyUserName 3 years ago
i might be wrong but i think theres a little bit in there, nothing wild or that but a little

i cant seem to find the video your talking about.. he doesnt use much finger vibrato in this video here though huh ?
bigbobbreakdance 3 years ago
12 seconds in you can hear where he slides across the strings being delayed and the same near the end
.
02nlewis 2 years ago
For me that would go under reverb as he isn't using it as more than a background effect. :P

No Gilmour doesn't do those whammy bar tricks. I was thinking more of Jason Becker

Gilmour?

Realy i think he sounds like Marcus Lavendell LOL
dudeofmuchrock 2 years ago
@theothecoolguy gilmour does use the bar extensively..maybe not to the extent of some more " metal" stylings...but he was a pioneer of the bar imho
arkee71 1 year ago
this seems easy but ill bet its not. im more of a slow picking sweep soloist.
