@lBStrokin A song, its singer and its performance are all going to evolve over 30-something years. There's no avoiding that... and in a way it makes it more interesting because it can tell us something about the singer's journey over that time and even in the more general sense, how the song felt in the 60s compared to how it feels now. Ray still has the same conviction with that song all these years later and that makes it always a pleasure to hear.
without dave's backing vocal it's not the same.. :(
and actually it sounds a little too modern here. but you know we can't turn back the clock.. :'(
i'm just 13 and i love them sooo much. but i really think they had there best times in the 60s. the sound was so different and bader than today and it had that special old touch.
i will miss the 60s even if i've never lived then.
