  • this suppose to Remote from PC to MAC, what happen to the section?

  • help i install pc on mac but the problem is i can't connect to a network i can't go to internet or firebox can't down stuff no connection help

  • THe guy on the left is a n00b, everyone knows how remote desktop works, it's like a window to another computer with controls.

  • If im running multple computers running in the same network, how do I connect to the right computer? Just typing in the ID like I did before.. or what? Tell me how to choose computer!

  • so could i play a game from windows to my mac with this?

  • what if you use the remote desktop from the bootcamp windows to connect to the target PC ...?? would that enable the disk sharing?? would that fix other compatibility problems?? is it possible?

  • how the hell do u connect it wont let me

  • try the IP address: in Windows just search for "command prompt". Once in there type: ipconfig then press Enter. It should come up. It should be in the format ###.###.#.#.

  • do you have to download anyprograms on the windows for all of this to happen

  • Incorrect with printer. You mac printers can be shared upon connection, just the same way you can mount your mac harddrive on the end machine.

  • These are idiots. It's not OS "x", it's OS 10. Sheesh!

  • It's both, genius!

  • No, it's is not. that X is the Roman Numeral 10. You will never hear it refered to as "x" by someone who knows this, and that someone would be someone who actually knows more than the shell of OS X.

  • I am well aware of the fact that X is 10 in roman numerals. The operating system is both referred to as OS "X" and OS 10, both are considered normal. I know TONS of people who have a distinct knowledge of roman numerals and still call it OS "X" instead of OS 10.

  • It's not a knowledge of Roman Numerals, but of the operating system itself. I apologize, I mispoke, what I meant was that regardless of what it is popularly called, It means, and should be said in proper conversation, such as when giving instructions and presuming to have advanced knowledge of the system (as they supposedly do)10, not "x". Though you may text "lol", in conversation you laugh, say it's funny, or comment on it. Do the proper thing, in other words.

Who are you to argue about this?

  • Simple way to prove your point- Load up the terminal and type in (without talking brackets) "Say Mac OS X".

Has solved many arguments in the past ;-)

  • Firefox crashed? thats odd.. Maybe they should do the test with a PC that works.

  • Oh my god. I have a PC, and I would die to have a god damned Mac! Looking in that room, with all of those Macs everywhere, I would love to be in that room!

  • wooopss.. firefox crashed.. hahaha

  • May be i can show you some tricks hot to share files via remote. Because I can see you don't know much about mac and remote.
