@skilly123 ok, i see. this explains a lot. you enjoy grown men doing kermit the frog voices on the radio. well, i agree with you then, rickles is a terrible comedian to you since that type of comedy is your speed. and that's fine, for you, but not what most think of as comedy.

i am 1000000% conservative and i can't even keep the radio on that station when they start with the muppet voices let alone find it funny. different folks, different strokes

@skilly123 i don't know what to say, you're probably the kind of person who thinks kimmel and sara silermann are a real hoot. they aren't. don rickles clipped toenails in the 1950s that had more talent in them than these new comics ever will.  they do not have the timing or the quit wit that rickles does.

your problem is that you are so used to crap that you don't know the real thing when you see it. rickles is better now than ever before by a long shot, as hampton in jazz aged the same.

@skilly123 he's just the right firggin age and he's brilliant. and i'm not that old. his comic talent and TIMING are simply the type of genius that's almost extinct. Plus he's got the sack to do the insults that everyone thinks (most of the time in jest) and nobody says because we are strangled up in this politically correct pansy quagmire.

It requires quickness, wit and cleverness, hence the "awkward and confusing moments" in many interviews. True comedy fans know that Rickles is and always will be one of the greatest in the form. At 3:15 he has to explain he's making a funny joke but people today are so "politically correctized" they don't get it. Life is what it is, history is what it is. You can't change it. He makes fun of everyone. Regis is nervous, he don't want Rickles tooffend anyone, God foribd someone should be offened. Go back and watch the Dean Martin roasts, see what funny is. Stop watching Snookie and the Jersey people, or whoever the hell they are. I think Kelly gets him, I don't think her laugh is fake.

Don Rickles: Great comic, great actor, and I loved his first book Rickles' Book. Don is quick and has amazing timing. He loves people and finds the humor in those people. He is totally cool!!!

The thing thats completely stupid though are folks who watch the videos and point that out. "No one is really laughing..."
