So many people say he's a crap actor cause he does so many '--supposedly rubbish--' comedies (which i think are awesome btw)... This movie should prove to just about everyone that Ferrel fuggen rocks!

Will Ferrell has a surprisingly great voice, and his performance in this is just extraordinary. He should do drama/quiet comedy more often. When he scales back, he's just brilliant.

This film would have been perfect had he died at the end. I just felt it really should have been a tragedy instead of a comedy. But then again, tragedies start off positive, and his life, at least as he felt it, we really bad up to this scene.

I think that was the point though. Her novel would have had the perfect ending if he died. But, she was so moved by him and his existence, that the author couldn't have killed him off and gave him a cheesy ending.
