When the black family was intact with black men as at home fathers the black community did well. In the face of massive discrimination and racism crime rates were relatively low and places such as Harlem developed their own black economies.
It is welfare and government programs that broke up the black family and gave us black matriarchy...and its been a disaster. There is less racism/discrimination today yet the crime and social dysfunction is horrendous. Only a fool is blind to this.

I take care of my son 90% of the time, but it bothers me at times when his mother and I would take him to a doctor, and the doctor would speak to her as if she is carrying the load. No my man, it is me. I say nothing, but it is funny. The perception that women are the burden bearers is bullshit. They were 50 years ago, but now they are the burden spreaders.

We Elders do need to facilitate the process. Provide the safe space for us all to get together and listen to each other and find way to impliment change. We must invest financuially into our young people.
One of the 1st things we need to do is provide subsidised, mentored homes for those aged 17 -24.

no i don't believe im superior to a woman but its when a woman believes she is superior to ME when we have the same jobs that i have a problem. its when someone thinks i am about nothing because of the money i make thats when i have a problem now the Goddess Networks sista i love you as a sista but you have some serious issues you insult me for being a man something i cant control because i don't live up to the expectations of what a man should be now who created these "expectations"? hmm

wow, that sounds familiar. I remember my dad telling me how his white "friends" were all OK with him until he had the oddasity to apply at the same jobs they did. And ended up getting the jobs!
Same old class/racist BS. just throw sexism in their now.
In the 70's I worked at a factory for a summer. Black men stood around me saying I'm taking work from them . The same way white man had done them when they 1st started.
