this is a great video man. I broke my right leg clean through both bones and shattered the growth plate in the same ankle skimming like 7 years ago and i've never stepped on a board since. I'm inspired to hop on one again this summer though. Keep up the good work!!

@GoProCamera Thanks for the support, love my gopro. For anyone who is looking for how it was made, I recorded with the gopro hero in r3 or 720p 60 frames a second. I used MPEG Streamclip to trim and convert clips. Then imported the clips into final cut 7 on a 30 frames per second timeline and used cinema tools to conform the clips i wanted to slowmo. Shooting in lowlight i tend to shot into the direction of the brightest light source, to get the best results.. although epic sunsets don't hurt.

@kydafilms So when you put in it fcp in 30 fps and you film in 60fps what does that allow you to do? Why wouldn't you import it in 60fps?

@PremierMOTO if you put 60 fps conformed footage into the 30 fps timeline it takes twice as long to pay through given you that really nice slowmo. Thats why i chose a 30 fps timeline because i utilized slowmos a lot in the video. You are correct in that you could put it into a 60fps timeline but you lose that natural slowmo, the shots would just play at actual speed.

@PremierMOTO yeah you have to conform the file i use cinema tools. Just open the clip in cinema tools and press conform. Now when you drag it into the editor its plays slowmo. If you don't do this final cut will just automatically turn it into a 30fps clip. You can name it something different in cinema toolsso you have a slowmo (60fps) version and a regular speed 30fps version if you are not sure if you want slowmo. hopefully this helps.

@mnieto42 just put on the waterhousing and skim next to the guy it takes a bunch of tries ususally but eventually u combine good filming with a good trick
