  • This music is the part of the American glory!

Sadly, music like this is not promoted by the "Media" anymore.

I like bouncing "Boobs and Butts" but this kind of music should be played everywhere and it should remain in our memories.

  • @CristobaalDiaz

    Then why are you here?

  • Ah, the music of 70's was so innocent and pure. I love that.

  • There is a story, not sure if its true or not, that goes that Thomas did not know the water works were going to fall in his song. So when they did, he stuck it out like a trooper and didn't show any thing wrong, but in fact he was very mad about getting wet and made certain that Ed's prop department knew his feelings.

    Oh yes Love the song.

  • "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1969.

  • loved this song as a kid and i still love it to this day.

  • Excuse me, but OBAMA'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS FAKE! Every graphics expert agrees. No joke! Google or Bing it.

  • "B.J." seems like an EXCELLENT name for this she-male.

  • geniallll!!!! amo esta canción :)

    great upload.

  • This song was # 1 a few weeks before I was born, so I always love hearing it. Was a time when America was a different place.

Actually, this song was one of Billboard's Top 25 hits of all the 1970's.

  • @pjstrupp It was the # 1 song for the whole year of 1970 and # 1 for 4 weeks and the top ten for 13 weeks.

  • Rain drops are a hell of a lot better than the shit drops that have been falling on my head through most of my life.

  • Great, great song and rendition!! I heard the other versions by BJ thomas and by other singers on Youtube. This is the best one. Love it so much that I listen to it repeatedly. Just accidentally discovered it a few days ago. hahaha

  • This is from "The Ed Sullivan Show". And it was lip synched so the water would not interfere with the microphones and electrocute anybody.

  • I know how we can fix the economy!! Ready?? We let BJ Thomas sing to it! That should work!

  • I had a little music box I kept winding up when I was probably 6 or 7 that played this tune...always hoped I'd find another one someday. Then I found this! Thanks for posting! Love the song. Love the video. Smilin' happy now! :D

  • I've been hoping to replace my old B.J. Thomas LPs with CDs or digital downloads, but everything available is rerecorded. I don't know the whole story, but it must have been a really bad contract. I hate for artists to lose the rights to their own original recordings.

  • mikePYaDig reminds me of my grandmother

  • Dahil maulan ngayon, tamang soundtrip lang :))

  • Oh, I love his fringe vest!!

  • This was my favorite song of 1969. I played the 45 record all the time. Heard it on the radio all the time too. It went to #1. Still sounds as great to me today as it did back then. Written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Arranged by Burt Bacharach and sung with B.J. Thomas' great, expressive voice. With a winning team like that it's no surprise that the song has attracted the ears of many listeners and is still well loved today. They don't make great songs like this anymore.

  • Im a classic rock and blues guy but this song brings back fond memories

  • @MikePYaDig Hello friend,....that is a really touching story!! WOW,...lewybody disease....man,...my grandmother died of that very same disease too! I am so sorry to hear that!! Yes,...music from the 50's and early 60's and some of the 70's and 80's are great!! I hope you do well in life!!

  • I think The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences were stupid to award Midnight Cowboy Best Picture in 1969. butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid should have won; This is why.

  • @solololomon So? What's wrong with that name? I know people named that..

  • the girl in 0:36 failed to open the umbrella

  • @AppocalypseKitty117 me too :D i love this song so much and i don't know why guess it just makes me feel happy :D

  • @AppocalypseKitty117 It was also used in the Paul Newman/Robert Redford movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"..
