Oh! something else... if you have changed any contact information in your GodAddy account they will not allow the transfer to go through. I think it is 60 days prior to the date you want to transfer. Look up the time frame I may be wrong... but it would be like this for example: you want to put a transfer through today, but you made changes to your contact info for that domain with in the last XX days, GodAddy will not let you do it:(

Oh! It just went through.

I too transferred a domain from "GodAddy". Started 2 days ago. Did everything & waited... when will it happen? Got an e-mail from you yesterday (to my whois-listed addy), followed instructions & waited... Got an e-mail today from "GodAddy" where they said "Do nothing & it will transfer." Except my domain expires tomorrow. So I went to their site & finally found the button. Domain disappeared from their site. Waited... & just now appeared on yours.

Thanks guys! I went through my GoDaddy acct and unlocked about 10 domains, then went through and "Sent auth code" for each one. I only received 1 auth code to my inbox though. They probably have a limit on how many can be sent per hour. Any ideas on how to transfer my other 9 in bulk? Thanks

One example is with GoDaddy you can't transfer within 45 days of renewal.

Most of the rules (like the limitation of not being able to transfer the domain within 60 days of registration) are ICANN's policy and shouldn't vary, as long as the registrar is ICANN accredited.
