On 16 December 1971, General Jagjit Singh Arora General-Officer-Commanding In-Chief of the Indian Army accepted surrender by Pakistani General Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi and 93,000 Pakistani forces. This was the largest number of POWs since World War II. Pakistan lost 140,000sq.km of area.
This is a very comprehensive and thorough documentary of the Liberation War that gave birth to Bangladesh. I thank everyone who are responsible for the making of this vital documentary. Anyone interested in the history behind Bangladesh's birth should view this documentary.
