  • fuck music. radiohead are better... ;)

  • I miss 90s music

  • I have an audience shot of the full concert on my profile :).

  • Wow. No matter how many times I listen to this song, it still gives me chills.

  • the keyboard is quite different from the studio version, but still sounds great.

  • its a rhodes electric piano

im sure you know by now

  • I was 16 and had bought ok computer a few weeks before . THis was the first live gig I went to - AMAZING memories...!

  • you're a fag like

  • Damn i didnt even catch that.

That is how good of a singer thom york is.

  • It's become a tradition of his to always sing that line wrong. I don't know if it started here, or at an earlier gig.

  • Live, he either sings the first line wrong intentionally, or substitutes the second verse with an early lyric.

"Karma police, arrest this girl/She stares at me/As if she owns the world"

    And sometimes, he does both.

  • yea, it was amazing, dragged my friends to see them telling them"Come on you just have to see Radiohead" but the fuckers fell asleep. I left them sleeping at the top of the field and I got down closer to see them, Happy memories

  • oh what i would not give for a time machine. they were bordering on perfection here. quite simply best band ever

  • for a minute there i lost my self

  • I lost myseeeeeelf )

  • And for a minute there i lost my self, i lost myself

  • i love the second verse, where thom's vocals border on a sound of desperation at the start, its phenomenal

  • Thom's sneering, menacing vocals

    Ed's haunting atmospheres

    Colin's droning moaning bass

Selway's ability to go mental without drawing too much attention

    Johnny's superior musical versatillity

    =Radiohead

  • someone's to busy playing video games to get a girlfriend, so hes taking his frustration out on someone with an opinion.

  • I didnt realize i had to impress you while expressing my opinion.

  • This is my favourite song, my parents took me to see this when i was 6 years old :-) xo

  • amazing parents, dude

  • i wish i was raised on radiohead that early.

when i was 6, i was still on the beatles and the who.

  • i know right! yeah, there's photos of me listening to the beatles on a tape walkman at like 6 years old, but i only fucking discovered radiohead like around 8 months ago (due mainly to my dislike of creep and high and dry, in which me and thom yorke have in common), but yeah, i wish i had liked them a little earlier, i haven't evenseen them live yet!

  • band composed of genius playing around one of THE genius thom yorke !

  • band composed of genius playing around one of THE genius thom yorke !

  • johnny greenwood is as much of a genius s thom yorke

  • yes like the hiv in ...

    WHAT THE FUCK???

  • lol what the fuck

  • If I could go back to one place in time, it would be glastonbury 97 to see Radiohead preform.

  • nah man, glastonbury 03 when they have even more under their belt, that's where id go

  • Objectively yes, you'd sort of get more for your money, but I was at 2003 and I'd still prefer to have been at 1997. The 97 performance was significant.. it was a real musical event, the reason why it's often voted (in UK magazines at least) the best live performance of all time. It was the moment, after the very good The Bends, when everybody realised.. "fuck. These guys are really important"

  • to see radiohead live period would be amazing!!

  • Brilliant

    like always

  • thom messed up the first lyric on this. funny, still brilliant.

  • hehe, back in the days before jonny used a piano for this song

  • that's nt a piano that's a fender rhodes and he still uses a rhodes for this

  • i know that's not a piano. but he does use one sometimes for this song. eg Glastonbury 2003 and when i went to see them in staffordshire last year

  • Radiohead is one of the most important band ever. EVER!

  • great song!

  • Wow. That was really good.

  • jonny greenwood rocks

  • I've been looking for this one, thanks for posting it!
