For all those sick of the right wing hypocrisy life just got a little better! Larry Flynt is now on the investigation of John McCains affair he had seven years ago!
Personally I think having your campaign manager chase the woman down in a train station and "beg" her not to see him again is enough evidence, but, since he continues to lie, I say Go Larry!!!!
If the so called "maverick" thinks he is going to lie his ass off and get away with it think again!
Sen.McCain CHEATED on his 1st wife of 17 years with $100 million heiress Cindy Lou Hensley.McCain then divorced his 1st wife Carol, left his kids & married his MISTRESS Cindy Lou Hensley. they married only ONE MONTH LATER! nice guy huh?
after being bankrolled by Cindy's father into congress, McCain CHEATS on Cindy Lou McCain with his lobbyist Vicki Iseman.
he was known to be a customer of the murdered hooker Debra Palfrey
the worst thing about this country is slander with no evidence. Here Senate McCain and the woman in question both deny this allegation. So let the case rest. This not like once President Clinton who lie about his affairs. Senate McCain and woman in question both deny this story. So let it be.
Bill Clinton denied it too at first. You'd prefer to "let the case rest" this time? Maybe you don't know John McCain's history.
John McCain married Carol McCain, a model from Philadelphia, before going to Vietnam. While he was gone, she was in a an accident. When he returned, she was shorter and fatter. He cheated on her, and had an affair with a rich heiress. He divorced his wife, and a month later married his mistress Cindy (McCain). The idea of cheating on his wife isn't new to him!
I don't think John had sex with that 40 yr. old woman. Why? Because I'm 62 and if I had sex with a 40 yr. old that looks like that I'd probably brag about it and I'm sure that at 64 he'd do the same. The fact that he denied it is proof. Now, as to the letters he supposedly wrote: he didn't write those letters. Someone else must've written them because I've listened to him speak and have read things he has written, he doesn't have the intellect required to have written those letters. So back off.
Look, I am going to start removing all of these stupid Ron Paul rants, because there are more messages from him on youtube then votes for him in real life. I heard he is about to lose his seat in congress, so why don't you go to Texas and complain down there.
keith tonight you prove yourself equal to karl rove. usually you are quite opinionated reporting the typical bs that comes from the political news spectrum. here you are a complete muckracker:instead of critiquing the times article for its duplicity in supporting mccain as the republican nominee only to try some yellow journalism ploy once it was clear he was the frontrunner (jonathan alter makes clear that the reports have no basis which you ignore), you hide behind their article. shame on you.
As for as the sexual relationships, it is from an unnamed source from John McCain past, that SUGGESTED that it LOOKED LIKE there could have been a relationship. People are taking a badly reported, first page article as fact (and nicely timed when he becomes the first runner, after being endorsed by the same newspaper that had the story in the run in December, but couldn't run it due to poor evidence). The typical Ron paul crowd are already calling him "John McVain". Too bad Ron Paul won't win.
This stories has flaws. The fact is that it was John McCain's Senate Commission Committee job to make sure that FCC was doing their job, without all the bureaucracy. Complaining about a regulation that was taking twice as long it was should have taken isn't "unethical". Also like to note that John McCain voted for AND against Vicki Iseman's clients demands. You can't pick a choose a single vote a say, "He voted along a lobbyist's client! Corruption!".
I detest politics in the USA, it's all bullshit money hungry power grabbing worthless bastards. There is no candidate out there that can fix all of this, not Hillary Rotten Clinton, John McVain, Barack Obama nor your mama, not even Ron Paul. BTW that Randy Gray guy is free to give money to Ron Paul's campaign just as a black panther can donate to it, this doesn't mean Paul goes along with their views, he says he believes in freedom and prosperity so anyone is free to donate.
I'm not a McCain fan, but the bigger reason was the Bush camp calling homes in South Carolina before the Primary, and telling them he had a "black baby"
McCain is no dumbya fan because of Karl Rove's disinformation campaign in the Carolina Primaries in 2000. Rove also had college rethuglicans call into all the inbred right wing radio talk shows in the south and drop accusations about McCains infidelity, drug abuse and of course "black babies". Notice how McCain hasn't said a single word during the campaign about dumbya or his "achievements"....no GOP candidate has...because their all ashamed of what dumbya has done to the GOP and the USA.
This was a hetero affair from a repugnant? I'm shocked. McCain is nothing but Dick Cheney warmer and without a pacemaker. What a bunch of ass tools this party has become.
has anyone had a rumour spread about them? It's amazing what random sh*t people will come up with, all they need is a little lead.
I believe that's what this accusation is. The liberals (NYTimes) seem to be having a good time spreading rumours. Hillary Clinton really hasn't been a good sport to her competition. It started with Edwards, then Obama and now McCain. AND HILLARY IS LOSING!!! The NYTimes endorsed Hillary CLinton AND McCain. The NYTimes is trash.
I wish this woman he cheated with would come forward and spill the beans. She's probably been paid off with hush money. Everyone put Bill Clinton through the wringer for the Monica Lewinsky scandal and wanted to impeach him. Why shouldn't a candidate that is not even president yet not be put through the very same speculation. He should be and I hope the truth all comes out.
Obama is my democrat, and Ron Paul is my republican. they both want to end this war and challenge the special interest. Both men seem to be honest. I was sold on R Paul when he addressed special interest, the IRS, and Treasure Dept. he's the only Republican that says the party can win African American support if they are willing to reach out. being A. American, i strongly agree. problem is,he cant win b/c his party doesnt support him. Obama is a bit too liberal, but i like his honesty
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.......anyone out there old enough to remember THE KEATING FIVE? Seems ole McCain is no stranger to scandal. And THIS is the best the GOP can do? LOL.....Obama's got it in the bag!
for this woman to sleep with Mccain must be a zombie! and 40 yrs old is still considered young!!! and she slept with this fossil? my god, I cannot believe people sometimes! again, Mccain's wife looks like shit, I don't blame him!
yeah youngvito, like the real issue of having any type of close ties to a telecom lobbyist while he is committee chairman hearing testimony and enacting laws that govern the telecom industry.
Sounds like direct conflict of interest to me, how about you? How can he represent us if he is representing them?
See if you find any of this kind of BS in Ron Paul's closet. I bet you won't!
How can anyone defend this sob? Clean? He still refers to ALL Asians as "Gooks". Surprised that a polutician had an extramarital affair? Oh that could never happen...and his wife doesn't get Botox injections....He should have been impeached from the senate years ago. Check out his attendence record. He'll probably use that as a defense. "How could I have had an affair in Washington, I'm never there".
Well, I guess that's what you call "being in bed with lobbyists".
Nothing the old Washington folks do surprises me....but go ahead and vote for this idiot folks and get more of the same shit. Same goes for the democrats running for office.
hot????????????? you need glasses!!! Brazilians are hot, Greeks and Italians are hot, women from Chez Republic are hot, Florida's girls are hot...NOT Jewish women, sorry!
Give the New York Times some credit: They do have 95 Pulitzer Prizes (more then any other newspaper on the planet) and have been around since before the Civil Waer.
No so, unfortunately, his Morman religion would have been his downfall. I'm not a Mormon nor am I a fan of Romney but the American people are a picky bunch, he'd lose all the christian vote and the athiests and agnostics as well. Too bad we still have such predjudice in this country.
Cosmic Karma is responding to the self-righteous, war-mongering "Christian Right" and it's claim to God and Country. The Christian Right is neither, and it's starting to show.
Priceless!!!!!!!!! Mr. Morality trolloping around with yet another waaaaay too young bimbo. Well you can't say his current wife doesn't deserve Vicki Iseman's intrusion into her bed. She did the same thing while McCain was still married to his first wife, the faithful one who stood by him while he wimpered in N Vietnames prison for 5.5 yrs.
Oh It all comes back around every time to expose Repube Hypocrisy. Very Typical
Hanging out, and becoming close with a lobbyist that is lobbying the committee that he is chairman of. Even if he isn't porking her, it is still kind of like a teacher hanging out with one of her students after school hours. It's shady both with and without sex involved.
Well what do you expect McCain to do? I'm sure he got sick and tired of waking next to his "Cryptkeeper" looking wife and needed something a lil more perky so's he can enjoy the rest of that Viagra Perscrition!!!!!!!
I don't think anyone would fault him for getting a little poon on the side but, he's can't have such a close relationship with a lobbyist and represent the American people too. It just doesn't work.
Look up:
"John McCain Keating Five" Regarding the Charles Keating Savings and Loan scandal. He was up to his neck in it.
He'll sell you out to who ever will pay him money, he's dirty like most politicians.
You republicans are getting yours back...the Chickens have come home to Roost...now deal with it ...Its your turn...payback for the Clinton dis. Ha Ha Ha ...now suffer!!!!!!!
Well, you can also look up John McCain's involvement with the "Keating Five scandal" from back in the mid 80's. This boy is dirty, no matter how you spin it.
Riiiight, saying it aint so wont make it all go away. Not today. I watched the questioning period of the press conf. He lied in that 15 min session. He was asked, directly, if he spoke with the NYP and he said that he never spoke with them. 6-8 mins later, another questioner-female-noted that it was on record that he did speak with them and he then started trying to clean it up and said that he misspoke. come on, the interviewing for the story was a few months ago, not years ago. liar!!!
is anyone really shocked that the New York times is pushing BS stories to hurt the republican candidate. ironic that they endorsed him a few months ago knowing they were building this fake story.
All politicians get a little nookie on the side. Now that this story is out in the open the news investigators will be all over it. We'll know the truth in due time.
I urge ANYONE who thinks this story has legs to actually read it. It IMPLIES everything but comes out and says NOTHING because they have the words of only two disgruntled former employees, one which refuses to be named. And what do the disgruntled former employees say: They THOUGHT he may have been having an affair and they didn't like the mere APPEARANCE of a conflict of interest. Even these wonderful sources have no real first hand news. SMEAR TACTICS 101 and anyone who buys it is a moron!
I just read the story. I agree on one point: it doesn't PROVE anything. However, there are plenty pieces of evidence that point to an inappropriate relationship with a lobbyist. 1) He intervened on legislation that would help her company (even getting reprimanded for it) 2) Others central to the campaign corraborated the story of the two INDEPENDENT sources. 3) Mccain admitted at the time that her being "around all the time" was inappropriate. Mccain is not the man who I once thought he was.
Fred Thompson the conservative is looking pretty good now huh?! HAHA I love it, stick a fork in the self proclaimed war hero as he panders to big business......and some coochie too.
A Telecom Lobbyist....ranking member of the Senate Commerce Committee. Oh this storey has legs....apparently some pretty hots legs....oh, and shame on you Mr.McCain. This one is gonna hurt imo.
NO SLACK HERE, WHAT HAPPENED TO CLINTON FOR SAME STUFF JUST CAUSE YOU SERVE COUNTRY DOESNT MEAN for libs YOU CAN BETRAY IT W/LOBBISTS & get your whistle wet so to speak AND FOR REPUBS W HIGH MORALS, CHEAT ON WIFE, THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE ESPECIALLY FOR A MAN W/SUCH "INTEGRITY" could explode in his face. SEX STORIES NEVER FADE GET MORE JUICY BUT ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW MEDIA PORTRAYS THE RELATIONS.
Ya ya I know his wife is a foxy new model and not ye old faithful that waited while we was at the Hanoi HIlton.
But come on he has to keep up with the bathroom footise and the page-humping. This is the best he can do to show he is a conservative. Congratulations old man. Good job. As a true conservative I will make that leap of faith and belive you had an affair. I ENDORSE YOU.
while you can be uneducated and opinionated the chance of it is small and wld be even smaller if you were dicussing politics and then even smaller if you were discussing the dynamics of party fundamentalists left or right. The politically savvy are usually pretty educated wether or not they use the phrase "buzzword" of the week..basically stop frekin being judgemental about choice of words and address concepts and substance
Well, I hate to bring it to you, but neoconservative is a political term for nation building republicans who are fiscally irresponsible. Look up the term.
Second of all, I have a Masters Degree, so I don't think I need you're approval.
Third of all, I would have sex with the lobbyist also, but then again, I am not a member of the Senate Commerce Committee and only a private citizen. Therefore, she wouldn't get any special favors out of me.
NEO-CON????I already voted for Obama in the Tenn. primaries dip-stick !! too bad Billary took it. Maybe we would not be talking "Super" delegates at this point, but I think Obama can take Texas and possibly Ohio. Then it will be officially .........(Over).
OHIO LOVES OBAMA. They're traditional democrats, Ohioans are traditional, conservative democrats. If Obama sings the right notes, they're good. Michelle didn't have a problem. I wish we could just listen to her and none of this sh*t from the NYTimes.
Yeah Old news- New campaign... History only educates you about the so called "ETHICS" of a man running for president!!! And I don't care what side of the fence you sit on if you run for public office then you open up your whole life for scrutiny.
McCain had several opportunities to bury this story since Dec. and he refused. He is nothing but a hypocrite who thinks he is above reproach... If the NYT. sat on this until they had a substantial amount of proof then all the cry,s about hit and run smear tactics will fall on deaf ears. Honesty is in the eyes of the beholder.
An 8 year old scandal, of a relationship with a *forty year old* lobbyist, that both of them deny, just doesn't strike me as the kind of thing that is going to make McCain drop out of the race, *sigh*.
Clinton denied the fling with Monica at first too, but then you guys kept digging, and digging, and digging, and digging.
I think its time for you hypocritical NeoCons to get a taste of your own medicine. Even if he wasn't banging her (which his own aides think he was doing and they would know better then all of us), he was still very close with a dirtbag LOBBYIST for telecom companies, and he is the ranking member of the Senate Commerce Committee! That alone is bad enough!
That's why I'm voting Ron Paul. He may not win, but at least I can sleep at night knowing my vote still went for the best candidate and I didn't sell out.
Or, it could be just an innocent friendship, i've had a friend accused of screwing around just because he has a girl who was a friend, its not nice, and it happends. But I hope it is true, I hate Mccain's policies, not the man though.
HAHAHA!!! I fucking love this, hey, I guess the same people who forced Bill Clinton out of office must do the same with McCain or they will be hypocrites!!!!

It's time for a candidate who isn't fixed on
either-you're-with-us-or-you're-with-the enemy-way-of-thinking.
It's an old way of thinking and it's strategy.
Dividing the world in good and bad, us and the enemy (as a means to generate public support for military action).
A new candidate should focus on the planet as a whole (unification) to prevent another worldwar from happening...

We'll know the truth in due time.

is that spelled insider or insideher?

I urge ANYONE who thinks this story has legs to actually read it. It IMPLIES everything but comes out and says NOTHING because they have the words of only two disgruntled former employees, one which refuses to be named. And what do the disgruntled former employees say: They THOUGHT he may have been having an affair and they didn't like the mere APPEARANCE of a conflict of interest. Even these wonderful sources have no real first hand news. SMEAR TACTICS 101 and anyone who buys it is a moron!
Morr6565 4 years ago
I just read the story. I agree on one point: it doesn't PROVE anything. However, there are plenty pieces of evidence that point to an inappropriate relationship with a lobbyist. 1) He intervened on legislation that would help her company (even getting reprimanded for it) 2) Others central to the campaign corraborated the story of the two INDEPENDENT sources. 3) Mccain admitted at the time that her being "around all the time" was inappropriate. Mccain is not the man who I once thought he was.

Lets wait and see what Mccain says in the news conferecence. It may be a swiftboating

To all you hater out there....
Cut the man some slack for the following reasons:
This is the "values" party.
I ENDORSE YOU.
romneyisaliar 4 years ago 2
First off, that lobbyist is hot. I'd jump into bed with her even if I was a senator, Senate Commerce Committee be damned.
Second, only morons who are uneducated yet opinionated use the meaningless political buzzword "neo-con" to describe republicans they don't like.
HisDivineShadow245 4 years ago
his divin shadow say uneducated yet opinionated
while you can be uneducated and opinionated the chance of it is small and wld be even smaller if you were dicussing politics and then even smaller if you were discussing the dynamics of party fundamentalists left or right. The politically savvy are usually pretty educated wether or not they use the phrase "buzzword" of the week..basically stop frekin being judgemental about choice of words and address concepts and substance
sunshooter13 4 years ago

Then it will be officially .........(Over).
underdogD 4 years ago 3
OHIO LOVES OBAMA. They're traditional democrats, Ohioans are traditional, conservative democrats. If Obama sings the right notes, they're good. Michelle didn't have a problem. I wish we could just listen to her and none of this sh*t from the NYTimes.
porche75 4 years ago 2
I just admire that McCain would take the time to really hear out a lobbyist. He must be a good listener.
bobomite 4 years ago 2
Yeah Old news- New campaign... History only educates you about the so called "ETHICS" of a man running for president!!! And I don't care what side of the fence you sit on if you run for public office then you open up your whole life for scrutiny.

McCain had several opportunities to bury this story since Dec. and he refused. He is nothing but a hypocrite who thinks he is above reproach... If the NYT. sat on this until they had a substantial amount of proof then all the cry,s about hit and run smear tactics will fall on deaf ears. Honesty is in the eyes of the beholder.
underdogD 4 years ago
An 8 year old scandal, of a relationship with a *forty year old* lobbyist, that both of them deny, just doesn't strike me as the kind of thing that is going to make McCain drop out of the race, *sigh*.
givebirthathome 4 years ago
Clinton denied the fling with Monica at first too, but then you guys kept digging, and digging, and digging, and digging.
I think its time for you hypocritical NeoCons to get a taste of your own medicine. Even if he wasn't banging her (which his own aides think he was doing and they would know better then all of us), he was still very close with a dirtbag LOBBYIST for telecom companies, and he is the ranking member of the Senate Commerce Committee! That alone is bad enough!

Sleeze Ball McCain. A bunch of hypocrites

HAHA you guys gave Clinton hell for Monica, now its PAYBACK TIME!! We will never let the GOP forget this!

That's why I'm voting Ron Paul. He may not win, but at least I can sleep at night knowing my vote still went for the best candidate and I didn't sell out.

One min the DemoRats say McCain is to old now he's screwing the young girls
OberFag a few of us from your old days will be letting some shit about you.
notes08 4 years ago
Or, it could be just an innocent friendship, i've had a friend accused of screwing around just because he has a girl who was a friend, its not nice, and it happends. But I hope it is true, I hate Mccain's policies, not the man though.
rambaron 4 years ago 3
Hey OberAss at least he can still get it up .
Maybe all should no about your gay days back in High School in New Jersey and how many time you punked out of fights
Hey is that true that Obama promised Jesse Jackson the secretary of state job, and Al Sharpton also a seat in his cabinet along with Louis Farrakhan
I will not vote for him if this is true
notes08 4 years ago
HAHAHA!!! I fucking love this, hey, I guess the same people who forced Bill Clinton out of office must do the same with McCain or they will be hypocrites!!!!
