  • Quartz Surfaces and Countertops can be fabricated with a variety of different edge options. Use the tool below to visualize how your desired edge option would look in your preferred color:

  • This is how TV's and Computers are made, and that Microwave you have there! Quartz Crystal made that too...Quartz Crystal has made many things that we have today, and you're destroying what nature brought us.

  • I love crystals ...at least it is a man made crystal ......

  • That was not a quartz crystal jackass.

  • why is bigfoot microwaving somthing that is obviously not quartz

  • This could not possible be human. Humans just don't look like this thing does.

  • awesome job killing that living being ! i think u should microwave a bonsai tree for the hippie.

  • You may have killed a being, that we may not still exactly understand how does it lives, or how is it real state of living. Sorry, but i didn't like. I didn't felt confortably with this kind of experience.

  • One of these days he's gonna microwave something and open a portal to another dimension...

  • Microwave some rutilated quartz with the metal on the inside!

  • quartz has already been blasted with higher temp, cloder shock underground ground

  • thumbs up if you hate him beacuse your collecting gems

  • Silicon dioxide is very metalic...

  • safety equipment? where? lol was fun to watch though.

  • I think you just FUBARed your magnetron...

  • I fell bad for crystal, stones a part of the nature and tit has same energy as we do which means it's alive, and you are trying to kill this poor and rare beauty.

  • @ecofriendlyS crystals are not alive -_-

  • @yhlanded How do you know ? Many people think trees are not alive but tree still grows. Everything has energy and own way of growth and for many people like you it''s hard to understand.

  • @ecofriendly I have never heard someone say that trees are not alive. trees reproduce, grow, respond to environmental stimuli, and need water just like animals do. crystals don't have cells, don't reproduce, dont grow, and don't need water or food. by definition crystals are not alive.

  • @yhlanded I never said that trees are not alive, I said some people believe that tree is not alive, for them it's just a tree not a human. Our goverment cuts tree all the time, and they do that because tree can not fight back like we do. They kill and abuse animals who are helpless, they abuse every single natural piece in exchange for money and they teach the rest of the world to learn from them.

You have no proof that crystals are not alive, this is your just own opinion.

  • @ecofriendlyS Sounds a bit whacky to me. Surely a living thing, by definition, is able to die.

  • @yhlanded Even sientist do mistakes and some say one thing and the other say opposite. Crystals are minerals which has healing and energy, it's been used in the old centuries as therapidic healing.

  • @ecofriendlyS If you can show me somewhere credible that says trees are not alive i would be totally willing and open as i could to check it out.

  • @yhlanded They are. I wanted to sent you a link to proof but it won't let me for soe reason but you can google it yourself.

  • poor chrystal...

  • the only reason for the sparks is the metal

  • your cameras focus goes off kilt every time it gets a blast of radiation

  • i rather microwave hot pockets... you get to eat it After :3

  • That looks a lot more like bismuth than quarts.

  • That was a beautiful crystal, dumbass. What a waste of the world's natural wonders.

  • People are such dumb asses.

  • You're gonna hurt yourself.

  • are you that bored?

  • That's hard on the microwave. You need something inside of it to absorb the energ you'll burn out your magnetron

  • WOW! Next we will move up to a six year olds level! I threw out my mirowave ten years ago !!!

  • whats the point

  • it took some thousand years to build the crystal and some minutes to destroy it

and when you find a way to piece it together now let me know

  • Comment removed

  • good idea! stand right infront of it.

  • Comment removed

  • ok first off...that was not very scientific at all "hawhaw im gonna take a rock an throw it in the nuke machine an see what happens!" and what safety equipment i didnt even see any gloves? oh yeah and lets throw hot water on a rock after i just got done microwaving it for 3 minutes....i hope the next time you do something like that it explodes and you destroy your camera. pluss there was no testing or analysis done...thats not sciene people just some nut looking to get attention

  • @Farlon42 he has a right to do it if he wants, scientific bs or not, it's interesting to some people so stop your bitching

  • @Farlon42

Unfortunatly that is how most inventions are created. Try something off the wall, observe it carefully, then sometimes you get good results.

These days engineers are pretty much restricted to useing databases, so they cannot reasily invent new thing...

  • MAN!! i was really hoping a pizza was there when you opened the microwave door

  • Am I the only one that microwaved it for 3 mins and put a straw in there at the end an sucked all the shit into me? (I got a boner instantly!) oh yea hmmmm.... The after effects were at the e.r an were fun *jk*

  • you ruined the crystal!!!

  • "Is it a good idea to mircowave this?"

  • k cool it will cook, but the real question.. will it blend O_O

  • @karee69

    y not? ...ITS DOVETASTIC MAN!

  • all i gotta say is...y?

  • Imagine how many watches you could've built with that.

  • DUDE you just zapped off all the pretty rhodium plating and destroyed a nice rock...!

  • why in the hell would you microwave something like that!

  • That was indeed quartz, but a titanium iodized quartz (layer of metal on the surface makes it look like bismith) the metal probably did most of the sparking.. also cut your fingernails

  • @wildcardftw

I concur with wildcardftw...and you loose credibility because of your poor hygene...cut your damn nails..gross

  • that was about as eventful as canada day fireworks in any small canadian town.

  • How could you mistake that for quartz?

  • wow, look at all the transdumbassinal energy being released!

  • Thats not Quartz you fucking faggot bitch.

  • looks like Alexandrite not Quartz

  • U ruined it :((

  • This is how the dilithium crystals on star trek work.

  • You ruined a perfectly fine quartz crystal.

    I.

    Hate.

    You.

  • The irredecent sheen on that quartz was synthetically put there by a thin spay coat of metal.... Metal in the microwave is no new science project.

  • Shit I was waiting for it to pop and scare the shit outta me.

When he was done, he poured water on it and I was think "damn, I woulda touch that shit" cuz after watching this shit I forgot when u microwave things they get hot.

Im sorry, I'm not high or anything, I just ran out of cigarettes and I fuckn need one RIGHT NOW

  • do the same thing but inside water with an electric wire running from and attach it to a light bulb

  • That's an aqua aura quartz, which is quartz infused with titanium.... No kidding it set off sparks!!! :P

  • @CLVitz78 it wouldent be that color idiot

  • Video does what is says LOL :D

  • Ok you owe me a new laptop. A black hole just open up and swallowed it lol What a load of huey.

  • smooth

  • thumbs up if you were expecting a rip in da time space contindum

  • cut your fingernails wolverine

  • @jfeegel That's Sabretooth...

  • @jfeegel LMFAO...

  • @jfeegel he's a girl god

  • i hope that ruined you microwave.

  • that wasent quartz it was molded bismulth

  • @C001ful good im glad someone noticed it. im an energist, i know quartz best and that isnt it. i thumbsed up for some one actual knowing there stuff.

  • @arobiteme thank you and i speacalise in quartzs and im only 11 i hope to be a crystealeolagist when i grow up i have collected for many years and they are my deavoshon thank you again

  • @C001ful haha, i like when im not the only person there is who knows about stones and minarals, and im kinda glad that you didnt just ask what an energist is, its kinda like and energy bender, sorta, btw im 13

  • @C001ful Actually it's titanium coated quartz, I have one just like it. I also have bismuth, so the differences are pretty obvious to me.

  • @amethyst8teen they dont have titanium coated quartz first of all titanium and quartz will not mix nor be put in each other and you are right about the bismulth i have done firther investagatoin and it seems to be something els so thanks but the first part you where rong with :)

  • @C001ful It is titanium coated quartz, the person I bought the crystal from works exclusively with titanium. They don't need to be able to mix or anything so complicated. The quartz crystal is just coated with titanium powder and then fired so that the titanium melts to form a uniform coating over the crystal. I'm sorry, but you are very mistaken. The lady explained the entire process to me, as I was very curious as to how she made these crystals.

  • @amethyst8teen ok im sorry thank you fro explaining it

  • @C001ful Just do a google image search for titanium coated quartz, you'll see tons of crystals like this...

  • @amethyst8teen hey did shit not the right kind of titaineum go suck a cactus

  • Comment removed

  • @C001ful bismuth would have melted.

  • @Defective23 not in a microwave dumbass maybe in a crusible of fire but not microwave

  • @C001ful no its actually a variety of laboratory "enhanced" quartz; they coat the quartz with different metals then heat treat it so the metals bond to the surface, and produce the colour variations which i admit, are very similar to the colours exhibited with bismuth... but its not

  • @weirdcode1 ok

  • @C001ful it shows you in the end when he used water to cool it down that the color or bismuth imitation was metallic paint. the paint flakes off and you see translucent crystal underneath.

  • @C001ful At the end of the video you can see the crystals are clear. Bismuth isn't clear,it's silvery, its a metal. Smokey quartz turns from dark to clear when heated because radioactive decay in the crystal causes dislocations which turn it dark. Heating rearranges the atoms in the crystals.

  • @C001ful it isn't bismuth, it's quartz with a coating that has been applied at the molecular level using vapor deposition, like the "aura" quartzes that have been on the market for a few years now. they fuse metals like platinum, gold, and silver onto the surface of the crystal.

  • i still do not understand why this person did this, though.

  • jerk! i hope u wake up one day with all the negative energys flying into ur brain for a feast! Your soul left long ago all thats left is fodder for darkness. whats next? animals? your next door neighbor? are u SO SO desparate for attention??

  • Why was it glowing and sparking???

  • clear quartz

  • Doesn't look like any of the quartz that I own.

Anyway, I see a lot of lifeless comments here, such as "it's just a rock". We have become so distant from ourselves and the earth that we don't understand the importance of our elements. The vibrational energy does sort of mean "its alive". It has healing power and can amplify all forms of energy, amongst other things. We shouldn't take any form of earth, wind, fire or water for granted.

  • @firstladyshine It's titanium coated quartz...

  • That was a beautiful natural formation that took many years to develop. You destroyed it...great. I bet you would get a more exciting reactoion if you microwaved a hand full of bullets.

  • @RabidCycler Not all that natural, as it was artificially coated with titanium...

  • I've always wanted to destroy something beautiful....

  • silicon based organism. you killed it. the only reason it was even vaguely spectacular was because it was bonded with titanium and niobium beforehand. if you are microwaving stuff all the time you really should make some orgonite and put it around the machine, for your own safety. this video says far more about you and the people that need to inflict their opinion on others than it does of the effects of microwaving a crystalline structure. which isn't the same as a rock btw.

  • @hoonboydotcodotuk ~ 50 thumbs ups for you lol!!!

  • shame but looks like the crystal won. What's the end product?

  • y are u so close to the microwave? what if that thing exploded?

  • don,t worry amigo you doing find , i used to do things like that , one day will find what what are we looking for .

  • Well that is 4:16 I can't get back.

  • cool you created LEDs (from quartz silicate?) albeit for a short life :D

@2:45 you was lucky it didn't explode.

  • microwave it in water

  • This is rainbow aura quartz which is quartz bonded with titanium and niobium in a vacuum chamber oven so its like anything metal that you'd microwave. Have you tried straight clear quartz? Just curious.

  • What did you put on top os it after it was done?

  • I don't understand what this "experiment" is designed to do, except maybe screw around. It does not tell us anything about either crystals or microwave ovens, though it might tell us a little bit about the people making commentary.

  • @TheoryIsSpeculation Why would I need to warm a rock? If I need it warm, I need it melted. Other than to melt it or some experiment it does not matter if they are cold. And you forgot the "o" and one of the "r"s in "sorry".

  • This is not a pure quartz. It is an Aqua Aura.

It has been fused with Gold Alloy or coated. You would get the same

    thing from some aluminum foil.

  • Thats not Quartz...

  • you should talk to a person i know on youtube... her user name is "Friendlycrystals"

  • I hope you know that even if that is quartz, it's coated in something else. A quartz crystal is clear.

  • Comment removed

  • That Crystal isn't Quartz.

  • Am I really reading this many comments about people who are sad for a fucking rock?!!!!!!!! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU RETARDS NEED TO GO LAY DOWN!!!!! BAD!!!!!!! If stupidity were tangible, I would rub you're faces in it! Fuck that rock! I sent in a baby with a G rated clip explaining why I would like it to be featured on the show. I can't wait to see what you idiots have to say about that one. I'm gonna go rape and murder some rocks now. L8r! :)

  • BY THE WAY TO EVERYONE INTERESTED IN THIS STONE.....THIS IS A TITANIUM COATED QUARTZ CRYSTAL, AND YOU CAN BUT THEM ONLINE OR IN METAPHYSICAL STORES, WHEN HE MICROWAVED IT, THE TITANIUM COATING SPARKED LIKE TIN FOIL AND BURNT OFF LEAVING THE RAW QUARTZ UNDERNEATH EXPOSED TO THE EXTREME HEAT THEN THE IDIOT POURED WATER ON IT AND MADE IT BREAK. HE IS A COMPLETE MORON AND DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR STONES OR MICROWAVES!

  • I hope this ruined your microwave the way you ruined that beautiful stone! Fucking moron!!!!

  • Soooo, DON'T put your watch in the microwave?...

  • You have just killed a beautiful crystal..... shame on you .......

  • Might this actually be a piece of pyrite? Quart is clear, white, red, or brown, but never silver like this.

  • You should name that thing Thomas Edison

  • Microwave your thumb nail next

  • Fireworks lol

  • pleaseeeeeeeeee u should microwave GOD ! if exists ! DO IT ....if not do it on christians

  • @bananabizzo Troll much?

  • microvave a magnesium firestarter bar.

  • for the sake of god, trim your nails!!

  • neutralization completed: now place the crystal in your brain

  • Ya just can't fix stupid...Next life maybe your turn I.D. ten T...

  • Perhaps it would have been easier to use a pair of tongs to retrieve from the microwave!!! lol

  • jpizzle needs this microwave

  • I actually like both you and Jpizzle, you do more stuff and you don't make everything about you like him.

  • you do realize, that this quartz is infused with metals....therefore its reaction, THis is not Bismuth, this is a quartz cluster

    ..

  • Why don't you put an uranium-235 bar?

  • how many microwaves do you by?

  • @ExcludedBug ask that to those guys that do the YT series : IS IT OKAY TO MICROWAVE THIS.... >:D

  • It looks like a great way to store or transfer and then discharge energy. Thanks for the idea.

  • I started digging through comments to find out what exactly is happening here, but am being swallowed up by trolls and troll accusations. If anyone who knows what was happening here (in terms of physics), I'd appreciate any illumination you would care to give.

  • That is NOT quartz XD

  • so thats how you make cryptonite

  • that is no where near of being any kind of quartz crystal

  • So it was only for entertainment? LOL! I must say that was crazy, stupid, and yet fun cause u got me laughing doing that..........and i was thinking, hmm, wow, he's doing something very interesting, and i was really curious.............but then, lol, it was just for the fun ot it. LOL LOL.........and u say it's just a rock. LOL LOL..........it is just a rock.........well, not to everyone including me........but hey.......that was hilarious. What made u want to do that, anyway?

  • i wonder what happens if u poor cool gasoline on it

  • How could U, you killed it! U sad strange little man...=P

  • @ucancallmebaby1, I simply microwaved a rock. No loss. It was not ever alive to begin with.

  • @dovetastic Not true!! Crystals have been alive for millions of years in the Earth's crust until some hairless two legged creature decided to nuke the darn thing!!

  • @nadaoferie Though I am a firm believer in the unexplained energy known as "magick", I assure you that crystals are no more alive than some random rock outside your front door. They "grow" by pulling molecules of that type of crystal out of some form of catalyst, said catalyst could be water, air, a man made solution, or just about anything else. Growth does not prove life, the existence of cellular structure and using food to produce energy with which to replicate proves life.

  • @mrE365 Obviously you have never held a Sapphire in your hand. Growth may not mean life, but certainly all objects have consciousness and so did that crystal, just saying.

  • @nadaoferie I have held a Sapphire before, and sensing a mind in something I'm good at. There might be energy flowing through the crystal, but lets be honest, rocks and crystals are not, were not, and most likely never will be, alive. It has no neural system, no respiratory system, no blood system, and no psychic system of any sort. Even plants have a respiratory system and a blood system. Not everything is alive or has a soul.

  • @mrE365 Okay, okay you win. Not Alive. I get it. I thought Tektite, Moldavite and Super 7's were supposed to have extraterrestrial beings reside in them. Good thing your not nukin' those.

  • @nadaoferie Thank you. And I am also glad he did not microwave something that could have had life in it. Sorry to have to tear down your belief, but if people go around extending animism to far, humanity will self destruct so it does not have to step on sand.

  • @mrE365 You did not tear any belief down. You do not have to demonstrate the truth through destruction always, regardless of reductive thinking. My beliefs are stronger than that crystal itself, so you cannot "Nuke" that too. And who is "He?' I meant you.

  • @nadaoferie Ah, okay. I actually do not microwave rocks. I have no need to.

  • @mrE365 simply expand your conception of "food"

  • @dovetastic oh yes it washate to tell yaeven rocks r alive

  • @dovetastic prove it wasent alive ^^

  • @dovetastic spirit moves throuh all things.

  • If it was a quarts crystal alone it would not have reacted in such a way. That is a titanium flame aura quarts. The colors of such a beautiful crystals are achieved from bonding the stone with titanium, the metal caused the reaction. Should have just microwaved tin foil or a fork.
