what i think would look beautiful is if you paint the wall a bold colour, use the table cloth print as the wallpaper, but use bright aspect to liven the room. E.g. i saw it once in this house, they had everything black and white, but a bright green for a canvas and a dressing table chair. And dotted a few green fake flowers. It realy stood out to muh more and if you think, it's very effortless! Your choice, i'm just dropping suggestions :P

Hi Amenakin, I wanted to message you but I couldn't find the button on your page. Anywho, I was wondering about muslim courtships, I heard that muslims are not supposed to have bfs/gfs and that the man is only suppose to look for their wife whens hes able to support her, no dating though. Is that the situation between your husband and you? How exactly does that work, you must have to "date" to know hes the one for you? Did the both of you know each other along time before you were married?

You heard right :o) We don't do "dating" as such, but 'contact' in the form of meetings (with supervision by a 3rd person), email & phone communication is the norm for many Muslims, I believe. As long as the communication is kept formal to a degree, respectful & no physical contact occurs, then it's Halal. In fact, marriages without any prior communication between the man and woman is very rare in Muslim families nowadays. The 'arranged marriage' system has also changed. HTH

@Amenakin i find i'm explaining the difference between 'arranged' and 'forced' quite alot. alot of non muslims think that a girl is introduced to man and told on the spot, here's your husband! i cant see many of the muslims ladies i know going along with that idea! i say from my understanding, halal dating is a hands off, supervised affair, with plenty of time to get to know one another before any life long decisions are made. sometimes introduced by parents, sometimes not. everyones different

@asfahasan Wa 'alaikum as-salaam! I think that my small frame makes me look smaller than I am, sometimes. I'm definitely not the shape I used to be pre babies & I need to start working out. Once I have a "healthy" exercise regime in place, which is working for me, I'll make a video about this. I don't recommend diets, especially when your body is recovering from pregnancy & childbirth. Also, I don't know how many months postpartum you are but baby weight doesn't drop off quickly for most people

I am loving these videos! I am really curious to see how you are going to marry the shabby chic aesthetic with a modern twist :-D I really love that pink damask wallpaper even better than the all black. You could paint the walls one color and get a really nice huge frame and do wallpaper inside it. That way, you would only need one roll of each and could get all of your favorites and change them out. That could also be your pop of color. I look forward to sering what you do! Blessings :-)

Salam Amena, I think if your going to go with the "shabby chic" theme then the table cloth design you quite liked what be a good start. I love the Idea of plain coloured textured wall paper, and neutral decor as I think it would really make the scarves stand out. Also you could use things like hanging baskets or vintage looking bird cages to display some of the scarfs. With the shabby chic look, going for the arranged "just thrown into place" displays suit it best if that made sense :p.

I have an idea... think about decorating the studio as about your scarves. If you chose a multicolored crinkle scarf(wallpaper). it's hard to accesorize(furnish) it because it's an interesting piece by itself and something will hardly stand out on it but if you take silk finish black scarf, it looks luxurious and complement so many accesories :o)

Or get a simple wallpaper and maybe a canvas/mural/artsy-something to add the colour.
