John Edwards openly acknowledged he was wrong about Iraq in an op-ed in The Washington Post in November of 2005. He was fed faulty intelligence, just as many law makers in Washington. It's too easy to call him a phony. He had the guts to admit he was wrong. The same cannot be said of others

I knew that Edward's assented on the invasion vote along with many others. The amusing thing is that he gets the flack for being a human who acknowledges mistakes and learns from them. Much of his argument is pretty sound as well. He highlights the many documented attempts Saddaam made to get any and every type of WMD available. There were no WMDs in Iraq because Husein used them all on the Kurds.
