This was one of the best. Ones I've seen I cried. Because my grandma knew I was gay to but she promised me she wouldn't say anything And she past away and I don't think she ever has. But great story truly
Maybe because old people are sometimes discriminated and ignored she understood how he felt when judged, or maybe because she was was/is just a good woman.
Your poor boyfriend! I would have been a little pissed if my boyfriend was trying to cover up by saying he was bi-sexual and in a phase after a romantic night. Although of course, coming out for any of us is not easy, and by the way, GO GRANDMA!
This speaks volumes. There are so many young people who think that all the problems will be over when all the old people die. They think that all the hate and intolerance comes from the elderly. They, for some reason, fail to see it is the young that are BEATING the young. Things are not better with the younger generation...maybe worse, considering they have less respect for human life with the knives and guns etc. It used to be fights. Now it is murders.
All LGBT people should embrace the way they are born, no matter what haters said ,don't l'et bad things some haters have to say to make you feel down , embrace, embrace and love who you are.
Grandmothers can be cool. Mine was the only family member to just simply accept me wholeheartedly right away. Others came around eventually, but she was right there. Unfortunately, she's gone now, but I'm glad I had that experience.
How lovely :)
