hey, 1Dougy85, this kid is doing fine, you need to lay off. frankly, i don't think you could do any better than he did. and if in case you didn't kow, lynyrd skynyrd songs have very intricate guitar pieces, which intertwine and synchronize to come together in a more melodic fashion than the do when all played individually, so in that respect, this kid is great to even sound close!!
That wasn't very good. Why don't you sit up and take one phrase at a time, over and over again. If you 're going to do a note for note copy at least try to make it sound like it. It's one thing to know what notes to hit it's another to make them sound good.
