@tzhexuan That's because the phone comes with Android 2.1 but you can update it to Froyo 2.2 with Flash Player etc. :)

Free internet tethering (no extra charge on service plan), video calls over 3g, full flash support, Proper bluetooth, decent HD video camera with adjustment too settings. The stubbornness of Apple only puts people off. I have an iphone 3g, nneded to upgrade, iPhone 4 too expensive, got a free galaxy s on a contract, I still love my iPhone but this is so much better. Oh, and I can pug 32gb micro sd card in and expand my memory too!

I have the official froyo since yesterday, and a first i was a bit dissapointed as well, but hey after i did a factory reset, the phone now is faster than ever. Don't even need any lag fix anymore. (after the factory reset I had to restore some things with titanium backup, ofcourse).

About the pinch zoom in the browser: just go into settings and choose something like 'transform to fit to screen' (don't know the exact words, as my phone speaks dutch ;-), and voila!

I would just like to say to everyone, on behalf of... my sanity, that at this time I am quite sure that the Froyo update for the Galaxy S is beta-only, IF not Alpha, and that accounts for why it was so slow loading, as well as it indicated it's not the native "Google-approved" Flash 10.1, but an installed SDK. I compared my desire with a galaxy s from a friend and the desire was much faster with loading apps and in my opinion that is much more important than running games faster. Oh, and the gps in the galaxy s is also really bad so the nexus and desire are much better in MY OPINION.

@InfDmt Yeah the sgs is better for gaming but for normal tasks the nexus is better and faster. Buying a Samsung phone is a big mistake in my humble opinion. It just lags too much and has bugs. Also most developers i know have a htc or nexus because the galaxy s has some problems. You have to wait a veeery long time for updates for example

Strange, I had mine for a two weeks now and I have not noticed any lagging whatsoever. The only problem I experienced is that a couple of times after stopping a game the live wallpaper is just a small square, thats about the biggest problem i found. I mean.. I had Iphone 2 & 3gs and went in for number 4 - the saleswoman said you wont need itunes, thats a droid phone and pops up like an external drive, I said one thing - SOLD!

Damn I'm happy and relieved from buggy iphone crap...
