  • Nice pic of a song. Funny after I watched the vid you had seen last week I posted I went and recorded a bunch of stuff for practicing myself. Great Job love it.

  • @dgarreis thanks, yea that whole album is great material for us drummers. Perhaps someday I will tackle Aja.

  • Nice song pick and groove. What a great cover. I liked the sound of the ride and crash...Nice hi hat work.

  • @readyeddy101 Thanks Nick.

  • Another great cover! I have a question...on a typical cover, how much time or how many times do you practice before publishing a song or is it different for each song? Thanks, Mike

  • @miperr3987 Thanks Mike. It all depends on the complexity of the song. For this song it took a few times through before I was satisfied with the performance. For a song like Frankenstein, that took weeks of prep and practice. For a simple early Beatles tune such as Do You Want To Know A Secret or I Should've Known Better, just one time through, the very first take, that's a wrap!

  • cool :D

  • Awesome!! AJA is one of my fave Steely Dan lps. I love the funky groove on this song and also on "I Got The News". You nailed it Sal!!

  • @SQDLVR Yes, AJA is a fave of mine too, perhaps one day I will cover the title track, that'll take some practice and prep. Thanks Eman.

  • I can't do anything but follow the rhythm. Double beat on hi hat is nice, indeed.

By the way: I'm downloading a piano track for a half-finished song we wanted to do long ago. Maybe you'll have news in a couple of weeks.

  • cool.

  • One of my favorites. Great job.

  • @EaglesStir thanks
