We didn't walk out of the ocean lol life started on earth right after it was created, it started with micro organisms, bacteria, then small life forms and through the ages the ancestor of the humans appeared wich was a creature that looked alot like the current monkey.
However we do NOT decent from monkeys for we are a whole other race, we are just created by a whole series of events.
God or any other holy being was just invented by the humans to explain why there was lightning, floods etc etc

the only reason religion like Christianity still exists today is because it gives men power over people, Like when Bush went to invade Iraq he said it was a patriotic act and it was approved by God.
He knew that if people would say "I don't like teh war" he could say "Oh so you're not a patriot nor a Chisten? Infidel! Traitor to our nation and God!"
The Romans and countries in Medieval ages used this tactic in the same way and it's very affective.

the reason why this is the only planet we know of with 'intelligent' life forms is because we where and are very LUCKY
the reason we live is because of a whole series of events that just happened.
We don't live for a cause, (ofc you can live for a cause if you want) but we we live based on 'accidents'.
