Looks like the SNES is a somehow tricky console to emulate. Only emulators for PC/DC/XBOX seem to work properly. Even in other handhelds like the psp or gp2x the SNES' emulators won't work at 100% speed, or if they do, several glitches happen. It's weird, because more powerful consoles as the NeoGeo are perfectly emulated in PSP and GP2X, same with the CPS2 arcade machine emulators. Maybe for the custom chips the SNES has.

The games of psp SUCKS, If u feel "madure" playing Gta (a game that you can play in the ps2 too) buy a psp. NDs haves an incredible different playability, opening new paths of game styles. And in consecuence, a lot of fun.

Here we go, ignorant posters. SNES emulation is great on a DS because it's on a DS! PSP can't do the things that a DS can. And Chrono Trigger is said to have been one of the best RPG's written. Don't hate on a game that beats out most new RPG's. These "shitty ass games" will last, unlike some others. Head over to gamefaqs and see what games are on top.

Super Nintendo emulation is great on a DS because it is a DS. That makes no sense at all. A PSP can do the same things a DS can, it just doesn't have two screens and a touch screen which is made up for by a very large single screen. Besides, you don't have to spend money to make PSPs play homebrew unlike the DS. Still, props for making the DS homebrew capable, didn't think you could.

There's a LOT of good PSP homebrew out there, even more than there is for the DS.

There are litteraly more than 5000 homebrew programs for the PSP.

There's quite a lot of DS homebrew out there, but it's still beaten by the sheer amount of PSP homebrew.

And the PSP can emulate much more than the DS, considering it is just much more powerful (clock speed, etc.).

If you're talking stats, the PSP kills the DS. It's pretty obvious. But the DS kills the PSP in other ways. For one, games. For two, mass appeal. I don't know more than two PSP owners, but I know a ton of DS owners. For three, battery life. And instead of risking bricking your console (like the PSP) and going through complicated procedures to downgrade, the DS just needs an R4 or something like it.

Update on my previous post: it appears that the WIP3 version shows text perfectly, and most objects are visible. From what I can tell through the use of No$GBA, the game is pretty much fully playable.
