I'm pretty sure the tag was falsetto actually. But Tim is a BEAST!!!! His Cruella De Vil-from this set-F# is fierce beyond reason. The bass is amazing too, but I can hardly ficus on anything but Tim. My favorite quartet, easily.

It's interesting to compare the other version on YouTube...the tenor (soprano?) is much louder on this version obviously because it's from the left of the audience. I'd like to put the two side by side...excellent rendition.

Is Tim wrecking his voice on this song!? I'm concerned about him. On their 2nd CD, and when they first did this at their Swan Song, he hit that really high note at the end flawlessly, both times. Now he screeches it with his voice rattling.
I'm really worried. He won't be able to keep on doing learning tracks for Sweet Adeline quartets if he wrecks his high end this way.
The thing is, he has sung this same song, including those really high notes, perfectly on at least two other occasions that I know of (most likely far more):
#1, in their Swan Song in Denver, 2007.
#2, on their second CD, the White Album (the first one is the Black Album), available from their Website.
He didn't screech on either of those performances. He SANG that high note.
But at the 2008 AIC show, he screeched it. And he did it again in this performance.
yes your right screeching is deffinatly not good for his voice but then again he's a professional tenor unless his voice is truly dying on him there should be nothing wrong i can hit those notes fin and clear and i am an amateur tenor who has been singing with ma quartet for a year so u shouldn't be worrying
The VSTenor does a wonderful fight up there hiting the high Eb, very entertaining! :). I guess the key accidentally changes along the song, and rises by 1 semitone. Hasn't Tim got any range limits?? :)

They are famous, at least in the realm of Barbershop: they are an International Gold Medalist Quartet (won in 2006).
If you mean that excellent barbershop quartets should be famous in the wider world, I agree whole-heartedly!
