My father is German and mother is Burundian (African). I grew up in Germany until we moved to Canada due to finding a better job here. I have found that racism is prevalent in all races but nothing too serious, more joking racism that everyone "understands"...but when I travelled to America, it was a shock. Everyone hated everyone, whites were racist and blacks were racist. But I have found, blacks and other non-white groups to be more violent and hateful than whites. I agree with you 100%

That is that being "well rounded" by meeting lots of people from different backgrounds is the way to happiness. Strangely studies have shown that societies that are less diverse tend to be "happier" and in more harmony. Don't get me wrong I think diversity does force one to be more flexible, but when something flexes it is under stress.

@TheKya1991 Oh yes diversity can be beautiful thing much like rivers crashing in to each other can. It is energetic and ever changing. With that energy comes stress which can manifest in conflict. In the less diverse communities there is more harmony because of the fewer differences. But with that harmony comes less energy and less creativity. It all is a matter on where one feels most comfortable I guess.
As for public schools, I would be all for them IF they could keep the politics out of them and the government would intentionally not use them to indoctrinate students with political world views. For example my child's public school promotes democrats and the democrat's version of socialism, for which I must deprogram my child when she comes home every day. Public schools being a monopoly tend to do a poor job in teaching as they are more interested in the teachers jobs then in the students.

I walked into the Chicago Board of Trade while a Junior in College majoring in Finance. I wanted to apply to be a runner entry level position. I saw the lady behind the desk put my app and resume in the garbage. As I was ridding up on the elevator to young White guys in jeans where also coming to apply one looked at me in dressed in a suit and said to the other shouldn't we also have dressed up his friend said don't worry my uncle works here we've got the job. I was never given a chance to have my Application reviewed even though I attended De Paul University and majored in business finance w/ a background in Polisci the receptionist made a decission based not upon my 3.0 gpa but my skin color. My father is German and mother is Burundian (African). I grew up in Germany until we moved to Canada due to finding a better job here. I have found that racism is prevalent in all races but nothing too serious, more joking racism that everyone "understands"...but when I travelled to America, it was a shock. Everyone hated everyone, whites were racist and blacks were racist. But I have found, blacks and other non-white groups to be more violent and hateful than whites. I agree with you 100%

That is that being "well rounded" by meeting lots of people from different backgrounds is the way to happiness. Strangely studies have shown that societies that are less diverse tend to be "happier" and in more harmony. Don't get me wrong I think diversity does force one to be more flexible, but when something flexes it is under stress.

As for public schools, I would be all for them IF they could keep the politics out of them and the government would intentionally not use them to indoctrinate students with political world views. For example my child's public school promotes democrats and the democrat's version of socialism, for which I must deprogram my child when she comes home every day. Public schools being a monopoly tend to do a poor job in teaching as they are more interested in the teachers jobs then in the students.

I do not deny the racism in the laws that oppressed the blacks and I am happy such laws do not exist today. I think the idea that blacks today can not succeed because there is some form of hidden racism in the white population that works to prevent their success is largely a made up thing. I have had far to many non-white bosses to personal agree with it. There are far too many successful blacks in politics for it to be real.

Everything he just said--> A black person tried to stab me twice. He was with his 3 other "homeboys". I still have marks where he tried to stab me. It's not the only time it happened. A black person I knew since I was 6 came to my house with 2 of his "nigs" and one of them smashed on my knee with a railroad nail. He also put a knife to my throat. Every single sort of uneducated black person that I know of is like that. I never thought I'd say that "Go back to your country" Isn't so racist.

You need to look at how your situation is TODAY. You have the same freedom and responsibility as a human as white people. You are not justified to be a racist because of slavery a long time ago.

Something I forgot to add by the way. Most of this reversed racism, and the majority of those who bring up how whitey is keeping them down, and how we made them suffer for four hundred years seem to come more from teenagers than adults. Have you ever noticed? Honestly the best way to counter those obnoxious people would probably be asking them when the last time they were forced into labor against their will. Cause there are some who act like black slavery is still around today when it isn't.

and I would hope to be able to talk with them more in the future. I have met many black people like this who I actually enjoy being around for this reason, and I even attend a church where I am but a minority compared to the majority of blacks. These people I've been able to talk too and feel comfortable with. So I think in reality it doesn't really have to do with color, but the attitude of the person, and it would be nice if more people would lose the kind of racist attitude that

Now I may be white, and I may not be perfect or racially unbiased, but I have felt the same things you have felt considering my experiences with blacks. Even when I have done absolutely nothing to them. But the difference is that I do have the utmost respect for the people of other races that don't judge me just because I'm white. Heck you could be black, yellow, brown... any color you want and if we could have a good conversation then I would be cool with that person

Instead of waiting for someone to just hand everything to you. The thing is though whites have done some horrible things in the past. But think about it. Why are blacks the only outspoken ones? What about all the Japanese-Americans we imprisoned in WW2? All the Chinese we enslaved? The Native Americans we robbed of land? Where are their outspoken reverse racism attitudes? Cause heck knows I've only seen it come from African and Latin Americans. Why let that hatred consume you?

You know a couple years back I was on a city bus and these black kids about six or seven years old were pretending to have guns, and were saying how they couldn't wait to kill white people for real as they were pretend shooting every white person on the bus. Kind of makes you think huh? In any case as a visually impaired person who genuinely hasn't had it easy in life. I agree with you that it's all about working hard, and doing your part to make your life better.

The only black racists i ever heard about were americans, there must be something wrong in this country, i mean, i know theres a lot of things wrong in u.s.a, segregation is still far away from being a ghost there.
If there are racist black people in u.s.a, that must be some kind of response (everybody knows that the "great american history" is fucking dirty). Latin American people are going the same way, is not hard to see that we are getting angry about all that shit of "illegal aliens".
