@EntFan1 ENGLISH IS THE SECOND LANGUAGE for morst Filipino's. It all depend how well they speak english growing up in the Philippines. Most of them speaks english 90 PERCENT of their lives so that is when they have no filipino accent. But to most filipino it should be okay to have the filipino accent.
@Sapangpalay22 because i am not good in grammars and i was just typing away. NOT everyone is good in something, I'm good in arts. Not great with filipno tagalog or english language. I HAVE SPOKEN TAG-LISH (broken grammar) THEN and that affected my grammars to this day. But one should not be embarrassed about it.
@rubien44 ..Point taken..Ang punto ko lang, ingat kayo sa outlandish statements para hindi naman tayo pagtawanan ng ibang lahi. Yung statement mo kasi medyo malayo sa katotohanan.
@Sapangpalay22 it may not be 90 percent but what i am concerned about is some filipino's making comments about people with wrong grammars- is not proper to do so. One can be intellectual but it doesn't mean they have manners. You somehow must respect others like me who are not good in grammars. i just find it that some filipino's always look down on filipino's who can't or write english properly. i said- ENGLISH is the SECOND LANGUAGE not FIRST. peace!
@EntFan1 English is Lea's family's language at home. She and her brother were trained to speak English at home, though they are both fluent in Tagalog. Lea is also gifted to speak English in different accents - two of them are American and European. Unlike them, common Filipinos only speak English while in the class and straight English is not spoken at all in daily conversation. It's Tag-Lish, meaning they use English words only because it is easier to say it in that way than in Tagalog....
@kingkong8974 there was no Vietnamese in the original MG's production . I was said to hear that too. Lea did an extraordinarily great job but it would have been more touching if the female lead role had been given to a Vietnamese girl in my opinion. There was, atually, a Vietnamese female singer auditioned for the role but unfortunately she was an Alto so she did not fit the role well. Anyway, I think Lea was the most beautiful Filippino girl playing Miss Saigon. Love her, as always .
leah salongga is i never like her she is bullshit i am a filipino she thinks she is white....... bullshit i hope she get fuck in the ass tell it blades he he he
i love lea, she's smart & talented. well, i guess i don't have to say it here because the whole world knows it, but just want to share my heart.

@rubien44 ..If that's true, then why is your post riddled with grammatical errors? What drug are you on?
