Two things:

1. The first clip, the Shoebox one, is pathetic. It's not funny, it's not ironic, yes I'm sure it took a lot of effort to make but that doesn't change the fact that it bored me shitless.

2. Is there a Best Aussie Award? I don't really care if there is or not, it just seems weird to have an award especially for Kiwis given their country is so small, and also when you consider that most Kiwis end up immgrating to Australia.

how did this win? its boring and mundane, made of mostly still images with a tween. any keyframe animation does not even have a smooth loop. realise how the people at the start couldnt say much in honour of this? its because there isnt anything to say.

It's Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi. About growing up in Iran. Wonderful comic, and the animation adaption looks like it does it justice (I love the voice acting!) ^_^
