i have a similar gun but i want to add propane injection into my gun, what psi should i use? i have no idea where to start, the one i want to buy come with 5 feet of hose and meter and on and off thing and two ball valves on the pipe, any idea what psi i i should use for the gas? im using 4 inch pipe about 12 inch and 2 foot chamber on my guns
Hey bro! the gatorade bottle is very hard I think in better a cola can. You take a litle plastic bag into the can and after you fill the plastic bag with gasoline you close the bag and in a litle space you put the steel wool, when you are loading the cannon you wanna make sure the steelwool is facing down against the combustion chamber so it can ignite when the cannon fires.
Is more easy breake the cola can. Excellent video!
Dude, dont fire next to yer head, it could explode and it would hurt. it looks and feels cool to but its safer, if aesthetics means alot to you why not make it like a mortar, with legs?

you can also use it from a lighter that ignites electrically. stick the 2 wires to 2 screws and screw them into your spudgun and your ready to shoot:P

Just when you get one make sure it's 'brushless' or the electric motor in it could make a spark and set off the gun.

I'm shooting gatorade bottles full of gasoline out of a 3" barrel. But I suggest using a different type of bottle because gatorade bottles don't bust open easily. If your planning on do this be very careful.

The steel wool is attached to the back of the gasoline filled bottle. When fired it burns until the bottle hits something and then Whoosh! It's not for ignition of the gun itself...

what's in your projectiles? i've got 2" and 1/2" diameter glass "pour tubes" that i was thinking of filling with gas, then stopping them up with cloth, thinking i'll get similar results as you are getting, should make for good night shots...
I use a three inch barrel, and most bottles fit in that. I don't know about the cloth though. I would try to make and adapter to a three inch barrel, but if you don't want to do that try stopping it up with a bunch hot glue, I've done that before. Or maybe a rubber stopper made for a beaker.

Their a lot simpler to build. But with propane theirs no sticky mess and it has a lot more power. Plus a propane gun is cheaper to operator, not that hairspray is expensive. But now I would say compressed air is the way to go.
