The thing is that the only element that makes this a sonic game is sonic himself, i mean you see the black knight the wixard girls and all those evil knights and you're like "oh it's just another Medieval videogame" But then sonic appears, and even though he completely looks out of place because of his model design, it is actually his cartoony figure which makes him fit ALOT in this game.
