I like this song, but the lyrics look different to me then some of you, I mean, some of you think the army is a good place etc. But this song says the opposite. "nobody knows that you've left for good" , "but once you get there no one gives a damn" Those line doesnt seem too optimistic for me...

You`re right ( "finger`s on the trigger but it don`t seem right"...), but i see it both ways, i mean in one hand it talks about the hard life of a soldier who fights, gets hurt and dies for his country and most of the time has to face the indolence of his own people...but in the other hand it`s a tribute to all soldiers who have fought and died defending their countries (any country, OUR countries) throughout the history of mankind...
