I use software right now, (FL 7, with vinyl and a USB turntable) with no mpd or mpc hook up. however down the road when finances are legit, I will be lookin for an MPC 60.. what they used in the 90s to get crunchy drums and 12 bit sound. do what feels right and works best for your set up! good luck, thanks 4 the inquiry! peace
