  • @freackykit ~ I have to say that I only know berlinders from this song, Chris. I'm impressed you knew banickers, though.

  • Belter! :)

  • @MisterBigShorts ~ Ta me owd flower.

  • Wonderful stuff, I'm loving the stylophone. My dad used to sing Dun't Put Thi Muck In Aah Dustbin all the time when I was wee.

  • @UkuleleUncle ~ I thought I was the only one, but more and more people are telling me their parents/grandparents sung it to them. This was originally on my other channel and I've had tons of requests to put it up again.

  • Oh! Tony, I thought you're about to cry! Very cute stylophone's vibrato tone you have got on! Interesting translations :D

  • @tapilele ~ Thanks very much

  • We used to sing this at summer church camp..."Don't put your muck in my dustpan, my dust pans full!" But we said, "Dont put your muck in Elbow lake, Elbow lake's full!" The lake was a cruddy mess. ha ha Oh hey, did you know you have an accent?? ha ha Love it.

  • @truckubuddy ~ I believe The Scouts in the UK used to do a similar thing with this tune (Oh du lieber Augustin by Max Augustin) called Fish Chips and Vinegar.

  • Eee that were reet grand. Am I getting it yet Tony?

  • @krabberscovers ~ That'll do, Krabbers. That'll do...

  • Wow A blast from the past for me

I remember well the coil 'oil song from my youth in East Yorkshire.

  • @russelljenkinsfearn ~ I'd love to hear the East Yorkshire version

  • I'm a little dutch boy . Well, 1/16th anyway. Love the performance but especially the way you find these cultural gems. And of course the Rolf Harris Piano!

    Brilliant Tony

  • @StubyStubyDoo ~ Thanks very much.
