I don`t know what Sony Music is thinking of when they release an album like "Viva Elvis". What kind of audience is this aimed at..? The people taking care of the Beatles songbook have been masterful. Carefully, well selected promoted albums maybe once in every two years. Sony has the same approach to Elvis as Colonel Parker had. Quantity, almost no advertising. Very frustrating, and let`s be honest; this album spells c-r-a-p! Elvis deserves better!

I really enjoyed the Love Me Tender track on this CD, making it a duet was an excellent choice and the music they put with it really made it work well. The King Creole track was also alot of fun. I liked hearing bits of other songs put into the one song. Like you could hear parts of 'New Orleans' and 'Hard Headed Woman' on the King Creole track. Worth a listen for sure! Long live the KING!

Got the album, and it's fantastic! The re-mixes really rock, and they put much of today's music into perspective. Some of the most successful albums since the 1980s are mostly well-engineered and many artists lip-synch nowadays. Elvis always sang live, whether in the studio or in concert. His voice was not computer-enhanced, but it was so good that you can still create great re-mixes and make him sound contemporary.

@voicebox64 apparently , That's All right Mama and Burning Love have been added to the Viva Elvis Single Album as well as a Local artist doing a duet on an as yet to be announced 13th song. They also do a 2 CD Viva Elvis Album with CD 2 containing the Elvis originals.
