However, fans who enjoyed and appreciated Nina's work sent letters in saying she should get a nomination. In the end, so many fans wrote in that she had enough support to get on the final nomination ballot sheet.

This was the first time that has ever happened in Peoples Choice history, so winning was a HUGE accomplishment for her
