Brian talks about not being blue or dirty in his comedy, cuz some people laugh at those words even though its not always funny. I myself swear a hell of a lot, but i first started listening to Ron and Fez on 92.3 FREE and thats when i got hooked. Recently i downloaded a few of their newer shows and i was really disappointed finding it much less funny now that they are allowed to swear a lot. Ron is a funny guy and he used to have to rely on that more when he couldnt swear i think.Just an opinion

I hear ya, but like all jokes, they are an acquired taste ... I think some of his jokes are just okay too, but if you've seen most of his material, on this site especially, he's got some really hilarious stuff. If he doesn't strike a cord with you on a certain joke that doesn't mean the guy isn't funny.
Like he says in this interview he doesn't use buzz-words to get laughs .. if that is the type of humor you like then listen to every other comic out there. $0.02

I think he is "under the media's radar" because he doesn't use "filthy humor" to get folks to laugh.
The media tends to promote the George Carlin (foul-mouth school-kid) types more than the clean comedians. Although if you're really good they can't keep you down.
