Hey, I too get excited every time I see another RC plane flying in the sky. I always turn around to search to see who the other people are and hoping to say hello. Most of the times they are usually friendly but some times they just ignore onlookers so then I would just drive away. .................... :-)

do you us DL instead of Spek to avoid intereference or better range? I wanna do the same as you but with a spektrum syste, thinking 900mhz to avoid intererence but thinking 5.8 could work to. What would you suggest if you were using my setup? I'm gonna be using a flying wing like yours and wanna go around 2 miles hopefully.

with that battery u should get about 20min. off flight time on fuld throttle max

so 8min. is VERY safe
