Thanks to the last stand of the 300 spartans and about 700 thespians ( all Greeks of course) with the sacrifice of King leonidas and the 300 +700 the independent city state begun to unite(finally accomplished by alexander of macedonia) whne all the Greek state was United and fight as single unit agains teh Barbarians (Iranians as the main body) the won the war thus Saving DEMOCRACY , the Greek give us this form of Free Government Democracy,which most of free countries Enjoy LONG LIVE GREECE.
