  • lol i love how when he spooks he like is still going to the beat of the music still

  • Nothing bad about Anky. But I think Edward Gal is better (:

  • I think this is an extremely sensitive horse that goes out of his way to please- if you watch closely you will see that she spured him and he was startled and confused. Too strong a rider might explain why in Holland Krack C is the horse that Anky only rides once a year

  • ahahaha, niceee freakout

  • Heel goed hersteld!

  • Well shit happens, this was an awfull ride with very very much faults. Everyone gets a bad day from time to time.

  • did you say this is an AWFUL ride? uhhh...can you do it? thats freakin ANKY! she doesnt have an AWFUL ride. the horse spooked...if you rode...and/or knew horses youd know thats what they do on occassion.

  • In all fareness, the horse is fantastic, but I think totally wound up. I love the playfull ease from Krak C, thats a quality horse.

  • Very smart to keep on going.

  • Thank god the part where her horse got spooked that she wasnt in a big competition she did great though controlling him

  • I love how calm she stays when he's having a small disagrement with her.

  • Wat kan dat paard mooi lopen zeg :O!

    Geweeeeldig :D

  • blooper on the 2min. :P

  • gorgeous horse! =]

  • Prachtig! <3

  • nice little freak out around 2 minutes:P gotta love the flight factor that comes with the spirit of the horse:)

  • look at the daddy of my foal =D

    he's gorgeous~!<3

  • Wow..this horse is so beautiful! He takes my breath away! Like he's floating, and it looks completely effortless.

  • haha, the horse having fun doing it...lol

you talk about when the horse started to jump?

Haha...it did because it got scared of something, it tryed to go back, but she stopped him.

  • i love watching the show-jumping at spruce meadows espeshaly wen john whittaker won on 4 faults!!

  • krack C seems to enjoy himself! he look like he has a lot of fun, just like everone of ankys horses.

  • The horses seem to have fun doing it, and we seem to enjoy it! =)

  • the connection between them is amazing

  • this was awesome i could never do that (considering i am a hunter lol)

  • I have no words for her amazing performance! wow!

  • This is 'La Cumparsita' Composed by Rodriguez

  • what is the title of that music?

  • I can't remember what the title is, but Anky has her keurs written specially for her - two of the others are Bonfire's Symphony and her James Bond Keur. Anybody know what this one is?

  • this is called the "tango"

  • His Movement Is Inasane! Gorgeous Horse .. x

  • He says "mommy I wanna be a jumper!!!!"

  • he looks more solid then salinero but im shore wat breed he is but i know he isent and arabian or thoroughbred

  • They're almost all warmbloods, with a large number of Andalusian, Lusitano, and Friesan. He's more likely Oldenberg or Dutch...

  • I looked on Anky Van Grunsven's website and found out that he is a dutch warmblood. =)

  • ponylover1992, Krack C is a dutch warmblood. =)

  • Does anybody know what kind of horse Krack C is?

  • There not bandages anyways, they are called Polo Wraps

  • and to protect his legs.....

  • wow i luv crack c hes mazin n anky is such a guud rider!! n ITS NT OVERBENT!!!!!! lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • to mark the movements so the croud can see the movement of the legs better

  • That horse's movement is insane. What an incredible athlete. Too bad he is being ridden so overbent...

  • Krack C would have looked much better with ought the bandages on his legs!

  • Uh ... the bandages are there for a reason ... ? o_O

  • The horse kicks ass

  • Well back to Anky van Grunsven, I love her she is such a great dressage rider & she rides my fav. dressage horse of all time (Solero). Even though the horse spooked she handled it very well.

  • Don't you mean Salinero?

  • Hehe, yeah, better than when she was accepting her award in aachen lol.

  • that fence is insane!!! did you actually get to see it jumped or is it just a prop?? by the way, anky and crack c, of ocurse were brilliant even with that tiny spook.

  • The fences were set up for the Atco six-bar, where they try to see who gets the height record over six jumps. Yes we got to see it - they did the six-bar competition right before Anky!

  • oh wow thats insane! i've seen lots of six bar competition but I don't think they were ever that high. thank you!

  • Anky is supposed to be coming back for this year's Masters. BTW the fence you see behind her is 2m12cm or about 7'6". I was so happy I was at the edge of the field when she did this (I'm standing beside the little abulance cart in the background)and it was AMAZING!

  • Does anyone know what horse that is? (I mean Bonfire or Junior)

  • Hi, this is Krack C in the video.

  • Krack C? Never heard of him

  • He's one of the stallions they stand at the farm.

  • I'm a hunter, but I LOVE watching dressage. I'm going to do a few months of it so my cues can be a little less obvious.

  • My god these fences are HUGE.... look at that blue vertical ! It must be 7feet high.

  • woooooo go Anky!!!!!

  • wow i was there for that too and wow did it ever take my breath away how she made it look so effort less, she was really nice cause i got to meet her and when she gave the dressage lesson to the crowd it was relly cool i got lots of good pictures of herr :)

  • I have always heard (and seen) how keen Anky is on making sure the horse moves EXACTLY with the music. So I found it rather fitting that at 2:00, when her mount has a tiff about what she's asking, that his fit is almost exactly in time with the music. It fits well. Made me laugh, anyway.

  • I used to work at Spruce Meadows for a few years. The International ring has made many very experienced and seasoned horses spook, sometimes with humourus or scary results. The the most funny was when a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman harmlessly fell off after his horse spooked. The horse completed the rest of the complicated drills and menouvers riderless!

  • I was at Spruce Meadows for the Evening of the Horse with Anky and this horse was amazing. I have the privilege of living across the hiway from Spruce and I volunteer at SM during the tournaments. I have had the opportunity to meet Anky face to face and she is so very nice. while at Spruce she also gave a "lesson" in dressage to the crowds that were watching and she has an extremely great sense of humour. She's a wonderful ambassador for the sport.

  • lmao! okay yeah no anky is riding krack c, i do believe. and he is definetely NOT inexperienced! he's a grand prix level stallion. he won the grand prix freestyle like two years before this video...

but thanks anyway it really gave me a laugh.

  • amazing. seems the horse seems a bit inexperienced however, it took a few seconds to interpret the cues and the transititions between movements weren't too smooth. but still, it's a gorgeous horse and has lovely floaty movement. and it's been trained by the best, of course ^__^

  • lol, truly that made me laugh out loud. This is a highly trained dressage horse preforming in front of a huge loud crowd in a jumping field. I thought the transitions were smooth and effortless, to call this horse inexperienced is a complete joke.

  • i love that horse it is so flowy!! jeeze and im a jumper! i hope this video won't turn me!!

  • I loved how she kept her composuring during that little incident. I absolutely love anky

  • what is there not to like about ankys training?!? I love her!

  • would love to be this good but only at novice just but maybe one day

  • this makes me want to be a better rider, I love the little disagrement they had when they went into the.. piroett I think it's called...

  • she is absolutely fabulous, i want to ride like that too, but my horse has to learn it first.. and i have to do that too... :P.. but she does come from the etherlands, just like me!

  • Anky is a fabulous rider.

  • Love this horse! And lover her riding =) she is a person for someone to model themselves on.

  • queen of the kur :)

  • I was there!! it was amazing...except i was at the afternoon one, and she was great, she told everybody what she was doing and stuff.

  • good rider and wonderfull horse, but i don´t like rollkur. :/

  • I don't really like Anky's training methods but I still think she's an awesome rider! I was watching that night.... I go to spruce meadows all the time:)

  • I don't like Anky that much. I must admit that she has wonderful freestyles and such but I don't like the fact of rollkur and her training. I prefer the classical training.

  • isnt she still riding salinero? well she still is the best dressage rider that ive ever seen in my life. thats all that matters haha

  • This was taken in Canada, a week after the World Equestrian Games at Aachen - I think they left Salinero at home to give him a well-deserved rest!!

  • There is a reason that Anky van Grunsven is the best dressage rider in the world...

  • what a niiiice horse!!!

  • I love anky too ><

  • i love anky <3

  • Anky will always rule the dressage world, especially the Kur.
