  • i like this song...it very nice sign language...

  • Awesome!

I'm sure you know this already, but try to find more appropriate ASL grammatic wording for the English lyrics. I know it's difficult. Another idea, in Rihanna's context when she says "speech" you might want to consider using a sign like "announce", rather than talk.

Just an example to fine tune, I'm sure you can do that to many other signs. Maybe something other than act, too. I know it doesn't matter now, but I love figuring out how to sign songs I hear. :D

  • Thank You! I appreciate the help, but I am just going to explain why the signs were chosen. "Speech" as in a a formal piece of writing that is composed for a specific audience, is signed the way I signed it, that isn't the sign for talk. Speech is a noun and announce is a verb.

& the reason I used "act" for "show" is because she is referring to a show like a play or performance. The sign for both of these is the same as "act".

I'm not being rude, just explaining. Thanks again though!

  • that was pretty cool!!!! no seriously!!!!

  • wow!!! you did great!! you should see mine!! lol

  • Are you signing in sign language i took a year of sign language club in year 7 and hope to follow through

  • Cool love the hair

  • Hi there, I love your video (and your hair lol) I enjoy your affect. Im not a big fan of using too much english during songs, but i enjoyed your execution. And your very pretty! :-D

  • wow you are really good! I have started trying to sign songs and had been working on this one so i thought i would look to see if anyone else has done it....and you have =] you are reallly good! Soon i'll post my video of myself doing this one so you have to tell me what you think! amazing job!

  • i am deaf- just wanted to say you did a BRILL job of signing 'take a bow' - great interpretation!!!

  • I worked with a hearing impaired child last year through the school system. It takes a lot. I'm still trying to learn and you made your signs so clear and understandable. I noticed once or twice where you thought, eh, did I mess up? But you pulled it off beautifully. Good job. And yes....Put more emotion in it. You're a beautiful girl. Smile More <3

  • for the sign baby .. dont do the sign for baby .. do the sign for sweetheart.

  • yeah after i uploaded it, i felt dumb, because i did that lol, but thank you =]

  • i just wanted to let you know that you are doing a great job. I sign also and know how challenging it can be.. keep up the good worl and don't be afraid to put more emotion and movement into it.. Great Job!
