If you look back at the 1992 survivor series, WWE did a great job of turning perfect babyface. i mean, perfect was in the shadown (storyline wise) of ric flair and bobby heenan that he was so fed up. The match itself at the survivor series (macho man & mr. perfect vs. ric flair & razor ramoan) was pretty decent as well so all in all, it was a really good storyline.

Ric Flair got in the gut of every pure wrestling fan because he was the best mat wrestler in the world for years and would back it up. Rock was entertaining but his promos kept my attention in a different way, they were comedy routines at times. Flair's promos were more realistic to me, especially, now as a wrestling fan looking back, I appreciate that a lot more. Great just different. I don't compare the two really.

Being quiet and not screaming doesn't mean you are holding back, it means you are doing it in a different way. Jake Roberts was awesome, and he didn't do it without projecting, he just did it in a subtle way and it meant that much more.

The screaming is overdone a lot of times. I understand energy is important, but this is just ridiculous. Anyone can scream and get all hyped up, not as many can say something important the right way.

Flair was able to do both most of the time, though.
