@zooyork595 Nintendo said it was going to be 25,000 yen in Japan, so that is pretty much $300 in US dollars. So in the US, we're looking at a price range from $250 to $300.

@GameTankTV if you do research then youll know, the only reason your typeing on the computer and watching videos is because EVERY technology COMPANY copies products... but nintendo doesnt copy very much like sony... the only copanyies i know that dont copy as much is nintendo and apple... the only two original companies but somethimes they fail

Nintendo's technology for 3DS does seem to work on the same idea as the bookmarks that you're talking about - two images tricking your brain into thinking it's seeing one, but in 3D. But I would put my neck on the line and say that when you see it in real life you'll agree that it's even more amazing! Playing the demo for Pilotwings, for example, it seemed like the plane was actually floating in the air as a 3D hologram! Can't wait for you to see it! Matt GT

Videogaming is definitely changing. Hopefully all the big companies realise that moving away from the hardcore fans isn't ssensible, and while I believe it's a great thing that new audinces are being catered for, they should never forget the people who put them where they are in the first place. And I'm confident they wont. Here's to a wide mix of styles and varieties of games in the forthcoming years that will finally take the hobby we all adore so much into mainstream acceptance. DanGT

I can't wait for this but sadly I won't have enough money to buy it probably anyway. Looks like Nintendo are returning to their former glory and ditching the whole "We only cater for people who want a home gym now!" idea. Funnily enough it seems that Microsoft has done the opposite. Now while I am happy that I might actually get some Nintendo games to play I wish Microsoft wouldn't be so stupid. Kinect looks to already have a lineup of 40 shovelware titles.

DanGT: The 3D is amazing, seeing it for the first time is a true 'you won't believe your eyes' moment. Game wise I played Pilotwings, which was just perfect for the 3D element, but I also saw rolling demos of Mario Kart, a Resident Evil video (hopefully also going to be a game), a film (in 3D) and loads of other little bits and bobs that really showed the screen tech off. Hopefully the range of games will cater to all gamers as Nintendo have a console that really could be the biggest thing ever.

I'm not a fan of Nintendo as a rule, and actually prefer the GBA SP to the DS... but 3D... now that's something I like.

One of the few Nintendo systems I genuinely love is the Virtual Boy... so I'm very pleased to see Nintendo taking another stab at 3D gaming, and in a much more affordable manner than Sony are managing.

My only concern now is that they fill the thing with godawful cutesy kids games, or family friendly fluff, and ignore the needs of hardcore gamers.

@GameTankTV I guess the closest Nintendo have got to my cup of tea on the DS is Metroid Prime Hunters. A sequel to that in 3D would definitely get my attention. A decent update of Starfox/Starwing or Red Alarm would be very cool too.
