Some people miss the message that Dr. King was sending, yes he wanted equality for african americans, but he wanted equality for all people. too many of you make it about black and white, it's not about black and white, and that's the problem, making it about black and white is contributing to the hate, it's not black and white. MLK was a Christian, and The Bible says that God does not favour any certain race, and MLK wanted it for african americans yes, but also in doing so, he meants everyone
Back than is was basicly what we would now call NBC (among others). The Open Mind is still running and being produced even today - even though it no longer aires on NBC.
we all need to unite in love and respect, and armed with civility, to sweep away the new quieter version of racism in america. the dr king videos are all so touching! beautiful! VOTE OBAMA!
But why are you saying "vote Obama"? Certainly, if his policies were good, I would vote for him over a white man or a woman. But I personally don't think that he's the best candidate. But what really compells me to respond to you is that you seem to support Obama purely on the basis of his skin colour. That's no better than discrimination. A black president would be fantastic, but judge on policies, not skin colour.
I agree, a black president who is not fit to run this county any better than the 44 before him is just a side show, Obama's Smoke and mirrors is no better than the other politics we've had in years past.
Listening to this the Judge is correct in that if you want freedom you must make yourself heard. God is so mercyful because as Christians if we want to be heard and taken seriously we must be truthful, firm, and intelligent when fighting for it. You must fight
BLACK PEOPLE were placed into the condition and position because the have turned their backs on YAHWEH GOD by Idol worship(materialism, prostitution, theft, not money but the love of money)...the ONLY way we as BLACK PEOPLE will get out is in JEREMIAH 17 chapter and Genenis 2:1-4
After watching this, how can any rapper call a black woman a bitch or Hoe , call himsel;f and brothers Nigga and talk about blowin' off a Nigga's head while bragging about how much money his jewlery and rims cost while poppin' a bottle of crystal ?? This great man didn't sacrifice his life for that and please don't let him have died in vain! Love yourselves Black people !!
No no no...that's a distraction to the real issue of how can we begin to think we can talk race without mentioning the words "oppression" and "white supremacy"? It is important to have self-respect, and yet that cannot be garnered by ignoring the very supremacy that actively puts us down and keeps us down lest we fight back against it directly. We do not fight back through backbiting.
wow -- thank you so much for posting this. have no idea where you found it. Maybe one of the greatest Americans ever -- and one of the greatest human beings

Whenever people who want to unite, love and respect one another start keeping pace, the tempo tends to change. Maybe separation would be best.
