  • Idk about y'all but this is an sad story :(

  • HUTU POWER!

  • @MaskedTehGamer Go die in a ditch!

  • @wwesonyfan

Shut up you Tutsi symphatiser! you have no idea what the cockroahces tutsi has done to my countrymen, ever since the bloodthirsty Germans and Belgians left Rwanda the tutsi began enslaving and killing millions of Hutu. No body ever stopped them or said anything. Now that our Hutu brothers got their revenge the world are paying attention.

  • @MaskedTehGamer

There is never an excuse for genocide

  • @ihateallofyoutoo

well that's ironic because there was always excuse for Native American genocide.

  • Is he getting a mustache?? O.O not that that's the point, but I just noticed it lol.

  • one of my favorite movies of all time. The UN general is such a good actor. Excellent movie

  • Don Cheadle's nose reminds me of an airplane

  • what the FUCK is wrong with the world

  • @hypoel You're so retarded. You are hostile to the U.S. when they intervened into conflicts.

Yet looking at your comment, you are hostile to the U.S. by saying they were selfish to turning their backs on Rwandans and let 800,000 die.

Man the rest of the world confused me really. What's up with you people? Guess rest of the world are cowards like the U.S. do? At least U.S. had balls to help, unlike some countries. Cause other countries don't have most of the miltary resources like the U.S. do.

  • @Hperman09 the end of the day its international politicions not countries that decide,if you had asked ordinary brits yanks frogs we would have gone to help it was scum politicions.

  • If I were the UN Commander I would have ordered the trucks to plow through the crowd at full speed.

  • @zzman305 Yeah I fucking reckon ...think that EVERY time I watch this part.

  • thank you for uploading!

  • The UN were powerless in a country of animals.

  • @XXXPopeBenedictXVI The UN is utterly pointless!!

  • @XXXPopeBenedictXVI The UN is pointless anywhere. Remember Bosnia and Kosovo? The people there were no less barbaric.

  • @edavismookie25 I think I could have phrased my comment better, I know the UN are always powerless and they were in a country of animals' may have been better.

  • ...he never did

  • The UN never ever intervened, I mean seriously what can they do? They are not even allow to shoot to defend themselves let alone civilians.

  • I wonder why the UN didn't intervened in Rwanda. This world is full of hypocrites. I remember that we are being criticized for not helping out the ground of Rwandas. We stick our nose in...gets criticized.....yet when we don't.....get criticized. We had too much forces stationing all around the world and not to mention we had other intervention such as the Middle east and Bosnia.

I guess it's time to do the world a favor and not look any handouts from the USA. We rather keep our money here.

  • did that red cross girl die??

  • @purplrosez05

    unfortunately not

  • from the start of the movie untill the end the one thing i notice is that bribbary is one of the reason why this things happen at the first place. if the goverment can be bribe no one in that country can have security and peace. money is everything..

  • 5:13 those f***k caniving basterds >=(

  • It's hard to look intimidating as UN official when your uniform looks like that. Just sayin'.

  • @HeyLookABird814 there not meant to look intimidating , there peacekeepers.

  • @HeyLookABird814 its funny u mention that because light shades of blue (like the UN's powder blue) are psychologically one of the more peaceful/less intimidating colors

  • I really think Sophie Okonedo should have won an Oscar for this.

  • @Ashleoodle She certainly should have. It's still puzzling that she didn't.

  • Why did Nick Nolte play a fictitious UN colonel rather than portray Romeo Dallaire directly?

  • @maxpowers518 sometimes film directors, for one reason or another, don't give direct likenesses toward everything. I was wondering the same myself, but came to the conclusion even though this is based on a true story, everything and I mean EVERYTHING isn't necessarily always the same. Think about little things like Paul's last meeting with his brother in law. I bet that wasn't word for word, verb batim how it actually went down. They just 'change' things to tell the story in 90 minutes

  • @maxpowers518 I don't know, maybe Dallaire didn't want his name used. I know Nick was offered to meet with Dallaire but he turned it down. That might have had something to do with it.

  • if i cud even thoe its finneshed id help eveyone of them

  • Wonder what brand of beer that was to be so bloody valuable.

  • @sonrouge Banana Beer, it wasn't valuable, it just took months to make and had to be processed underground. Banana beer is known as the drink of reconcilation and drinking it meant friendship

  • Most of Africa would be better off today , if they were not invaded by the Foreigners with evil plots to take Africa's natural resources without even caring

to make it a mutual benefit.Heartless people should not be granted power, the world would be a better place without them i.e, The Aids Conspiracy(made in America, brought to Africa through vaccinations),Scramble for Africa,Blood Diamonds, the list goes on....

  • @tglamour7 Why don't you tell that to India, which actually benefitted from being a British colony (by their own admission). Ever occur to you that the problem is Africa and the people who live there?

  • Has it ever occured to you that colonial powerholders developed a strategy for ethnic division which resulted into genocide. There was never an issue like this in Rwanda before colonialism. Soon after the colonialists left, the genocide happened. You need to stop always relying on what the West wants to report, most of it is half-truths most of the time.If you actually take the time to research you would see who deliberately created the environment for a strife we wouldn't be having this dialogue.

  • @tglamour7 Little FYI, Rwanda became free of colonial rule two decades before the Rwanda Genocide.

  • No no no, these are political refugees under UN sanction!

  • If the hypocrit nelson mandela hadnt shut down the mercenery groups. they would of been allowed to sort out this mess.

  • Youtube shouldn't take down this movie. This movie is a must watch for people who didn't know the history.

For people who scold "Darshanadeep" who uploaded the movie by putting his name occasionally on the movie, I don't think this is such a big deal. He upload it so that we can watch. A lot of arseholes make you click in the video by putting a single picture of a movie and tell you to go to their websites, this is 10000 times more annoying.

Lets enjoy the movie without complaining.

  • 1:15 DUDE ENOUGH ALREADY!!! CAP THEM >:O WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?

  • @Allsoproductions He would've been torn to shreds if he had done that.

  • @sonrouge true but they have a slight advantage... they brought a 15 round gun to a knife fight :L

  • @Allsoproductions Yeah, fifteen rounds vs. over a hundred people with very big knives. Not good odds.

  • @sonrouge ... I stand corrected ._.

  • Is the ambush scene filmed in Rwanda or South Africa?

  • roméo dallaire makes me proud to be canadian :)

  • @unlovedbutlovable Then you are one retarded Canuck.

  • It must have hard not to pull the trigger as a UN soldier right there....

  • in this movie i never seen Thomas what part is he on or is he the guy sitting beside her at 0:04

  • @Vilga098 nigger is humping you mother so bitccch and a son of s bitccch

  • @Africaunite2020 a white guy is humpin your mother mutha fucka

  • @Vilga098 no racker...its my brother with his long ten ench mandingo magic whose humping your mother...he made her pink Pssssuy soo looose you he can see your motherfucking brothers and sisters in there...he is working for making a new black baby

  • GO COL. GO!!!!!!!

  • Those that killed all of those people are the real cockroaches.

  • @SunburnedVamp If cockroaches were capable of harming anything

  • @1996JoeZecharia And he is a retard.

  • finally some of the UN boys grow a set of balls or say fuck u to the rules and do wats right 1:13

  • @lion3p0 They kill one man, they shoot at the ground. You call this growing some balls? Any real soldiers would have massacred the f*ckin Blacks.

  • @LordWellington15 the UN is not aloud to shoot unless their being shot at.

  • @unlovedbutlovable Um no, they are aloud, but during this war they were ordered not too.

  • How can you bathe or drink pool water ??!!!

  • @kkgirl300 Thirsty people drink piss. No big surprise. Hygiene? Secondary.

  • was that an rpg that hit the building?

  • The UN Colonel is Canadian

  • i would of ran them over

  • @julio9991 I would have too .

  • Comment removed

  • I really, really am thankful that the US military isn't allowed to pull half the stuff that most African militaries pull.

  • @TheNuharoo and yet the U.S. still wasnt involved in stopping the massacre. U.S. was just as bad.

  • we watched this on class for the human rights and it was really sad

  • we are watchin this in class

  • 8:56. Looks like teaching their soldiers to aim wasn't very high on their priorities list...

  • @perciusmandate Lol, looks like the gunner's been playing CoD: MW2 too much... SPRAY AND PRAY

  • UN Colonel -- "No no no... These are political refugees under UN sanction!"

Hutu militia -- "Oh, ok... everyone go back to your radios! Sorry for the inconvenience."

    ....

  • @The5hort5tuff I do'nt get it, the UN soldiers have more than enough bullets to clear the way and frankly it shows how gutless the UN is, specifically, their peacekeepers.

  • @TheNuharoo Too true, however if they had started firing on those people/militia without having been fired on first, that would defeat the entire purpose for the UN to exist, because the United Nations was setup as a peaceful organization so countries could come to agreements, etc without resorting to violence. Therefore, when peacekeepers are sent in, they are literally meant to maintain the peace without rendering void that which they are meant to maintain. It's really sad in cases like these.

  • @The5hort5tuff It is sad to see. I feel like utter shit that I couldnt be in the mother land to do anything.

  • That woman plays in the tsunami 2004 movie

  • Watching this movie I can feel my face wrinkle in disgust as to what I am witnessing...and this is a movie. There is no doubt that in real life it was even worse. I am thoroughly disgusted at what humanity has become. Shame on anyone who harbors hatred towards others for who they are. Shame on parents teaching their children racist thoughts. Shame on violence being used to solve problems. And shame on the evils that monsters in the skin of people create.

    World Peace!

  • @shark235235 Another Liberal Leftist... Oh no...

  • @LordWellington15 Gee thanks, yeah it's my life's dream for someone on YOUTUBE to judge me. Especially someone who doesn't even know me. Yep, I just love it how some random person can look at me saying "it's wrong to kill people for who they are" and presuming that I am "Another Liberal Leftist", yeah because what I said was so outrageous. Well whatever, you are just some random person on youtube.

  • for some reason this is the only movie i like weve ever watched in school.

  • I hate how the whole world watched this happen... I wish that the UN were given permission to attack instead of sending peace keepers... makes me so angry.

  • That U.N Colonel (General Delare) was incredibly brave there. Anybody that jumps out of an armoured truck infront of 80+ machete and gun wielded men to save people deserves a medal in bravery.

  • i know you put that "uploaded by darshanadeepal" there so if people steal you vid, they viewers know whos it really is. but cant you put it at the START of the video. not right in the middle.

  • director done good in this movie

  • His wife is one annoying bitch...

  • The only flaw in this film is that Uisce Beatha is Irish not scottish.

  • Comment removed

  • @PaddyAFC It's not a flaw of the film, the stupidity of the bribed colonel lol,

  • damn... 911 was so much worse than this.. PHAHAHAHAH!!!!! 911 is a fuckin joke. americans need to get over themselves. lets see. whats worse? 6000 dead, rich, piece of shit bourgeios assholes or 900,000 innocent black folks who did nothing wrong? hmm... im gonna go wtih the 900,000 black people.

  • @BlackandWhiteScarf Thats a cute username you have :D Does it symbolize unity among diaper heads, monkeys, and crackers? My username is that of the Nazi leader with an IQ of 141.

  • This movie made me feel literally sick. What happened in Rwanda is horrifying.

  • The Rwandan army were the ones that started the whole thing! the "inner circle" in the presidents party had him taken out and blamed it on tutsi's. There was the tutsi's had their own militia but it was not big enough to combat that of the hutus.

  • @animaX7777 Not really. Before, the Hutus (farm workers) and the Tutsis (farm owners) worked together for over 600 years, but the Europeans (especially Belgians) came in and told everyone that the Tutsis were in charge. Basically, they separated them and caused a lot of conflict because it wasn't fair. Then, the Hutu president's plane was shot down by (most likely) a Tutsi extremist. The Belgians started it. Not the Rwandan army.

  • @tenika5: But you can't places the blame just on the Beligiums, Africa is an unstable place, and this would have happened with or without the Beligiums at one point.

  • @abbykat8 Yeah you can. They made the Tutsis the leaders. THAT was the first time any argument between the 2 groups started.

  • @tenika5 End of the day the Rywandans should have got United and not let the belguims separate them in the first place. Rwandans should have been smart enough to know that they were being played against eachother..If somebody told me that somebody from my country will own my land I Would realize they had no choice, am sorry but this is typical African backward uncivlized mentallity. But RI.P the innocent Rwandans!

  • See U.N.? Even though violence is bad, you need guns sometimes.

  • Can someone help me with this? How were the Rwandan police force/army able to get away with not doing anything? Like, how did they keep their jobs? Like lets say there was a riot in some town, the police aren't allowed to just not do anything, they HAVE to try and stop it. Or was it just because since the president was dead the whole country was in unrest with no order?

  • @omgilikejelly I am no expert on the topic, nor do claim to I fully understand the complex events/politics that transpired in Rwanda. But first I would say, that this could no way be compared to a "riot". Police forces are in no way capable of stopping what happened in Rwanada, It was not an unruly crowed of people from my research But was a planned extermination of specific people. Another great movie is "shake hands with the devil" It is a movie based off the biography of Romeo Dallaire,

  • @omgilikejelly The general with the UN peace keeping forces with, whom tried to warn the western powers to help him prevent the genocide months before it begun. but he was ignored. there is a scene in that movie where a reporter asked him "why don't you have your troops show an act of force to deter the violence?" and he replies something like "because against a fully armed militia an act of force is not an act, its full on war" which is not what police or UN forces are capable of dealing with.

  • @omgilikejelly Hippyy123 answered your question very well, also the civil infrastructure in Rwanda was fragile even before the presidents death. The cultural divisions run deep so I would guess the Rwandan forces would have been morally/professionally compromised as well, a lot of theme were good men however.

  • The U.N Colonel is the Man

  • @MrAwax09 he gets shit done like a boss

  • @MrAwax09 Your an idiot. That Colonel is a jackass who did f*ck all to help

  • @MrAwax09 cause he was Canadian ;)

  • @MrAwax09 he has post traumatic distress disorder now because of his experiences there :(

  • @MrAwax09 the ONLY man (not in the literal sense) for that matter, now THAT is a don

  • sorry but also, whats going on at 8:07, whos fighting who?

  • @xaxie1 The Tutsi refugees are being killed trying to escape to the safe zone.

  • Hold on I dont understand, Why were the Tutsi Rebel army helping the Hutu Refugees? on the radio at about 5:50

  • @xaxie1 They aren't helping, the Hutu Refugees are trying to escape because the Tutsi Rebel Army has become even more hostile.

  • thx for uploading Darshana Deepal

  • there own kind abandoned them..:(

  • i love the dude on the radio his voice is cool

  • @999933333 hes a monster!!

  • lol he edit out the part in the truck where they sliced the guys neck

  • :/ What happened in Rwanda is disgusting

  • @Thorn184 ps it still happening in africa :(

  • @pao1233 yea just a different area

  • @Thorn184 What happened in Rwanda is disgusting yes, Personally what I find more disgusting is that a world full of people could watch it happen. Even that is a incorrect statement, A world that saw it happening ... then choose to ignore. I believe that is truely disgusting!

  • @Thorn184 NO SHIT!!

  • @Thorn184 But its not surprising. Blacks do this all the time.

  • @Thorn184 You should watch Black Hawk Down. That movies is disgusting. A whole Ranger Force got wiped out.

  • @daoyinyang i agree that Black Hawk Down was a very horrific movie. but not all the Rangers were killed. we lost 19 American lives that day. 5 of them were members of 1st special forces operational detachment delta. 6 of them were in the 3rd Batalion of the 75th Ranger regiment. 2 of them were infantry, and the rest were pilots. lol but i do agree with you. the Battle of Mogadishu was a terrible day in our history. such as the Rwandan genocide of 1994.
