People should absolutely have the right to protest. What they shouldn't have is the right to cause all of the monetary damage they are causing. If a mass protest is being put on, it is the responsibility of the protestors to leave the area they occupy in the same condition that it was in when they arrived.
I also think that everyone should be taxed at the same percentage.

Look Occupy Toronto where I live consists of about 4 groups of bike cops The police asked for 20 minutes warning before they marched and to be told where they were marching -- I watched the whole process last night New York is going broke spending money on cops because New York is choosing to over react to a peaceful protest So far the Toronto cops have not disgraced their uniform the way our southern neighbors have and I hope ours keeps that up and yours stops that
