  • The Romantic Spirit was a reaction to the Industrial Revolution in Great Britain and Europe. The Romantic Period of the last century was a response to WWII and the Cold Ward (an era of industrialized wars and standardized ways of life), and manifested mainly in the counterculture of the 1960s.

    What kind of Romantic movement will occur in a society where the system is bound together by the Internet, Facebook, and smart phones?
